I get ur trying show off the knife's capabilities but since the "bushcraft" & "survival" craze has taken over most guys think knives were, are meant for "batoning" , chopping... Early settlers, pioneers 100% did NOT use their knives for either batoning, or chopping.. all them either used saw, or an axe... what took you 10 minutes to chop thru that piece wood , would take 30 seconds with a saw...

Early settlers had weaker steel
@RenzieCat3 ай бұрын
@@Aaron-pb5xy .... yea... even more reason as to why they would never attempt use knives like an axe.. in addition that knives were used as forks up until middle 1700's

Watching him process the tree into firewood I was like “that’s cool and all but I would rather have a hand saw and hand wood axe. I would rather have 2 tools that do 2 tasks very well than one tool that can do both tasks ok.”

Hi , can the M7 be used for striking a fire steel
@joshuagenovese36Ай бұрын
It has a rounded spine though I believe you can still strike it with the butt of the blade.
@joshuagenovese36Ай бұрын

Thanx. ❤❤❤ Yes a Lanyard is very useful 👌 and for safety reasons its good to have one. Though personally, I enjoy using it without having to use one, and this pinky style Lanyard works for me, if I choose to use it.

I sincerely question the mental depravity/emotional addiction/physical dophamine connection to the act of UNBOXING ANYTHING. There must be an addiction, whether or not identified. It appears to me to be rooted in same part of brain as watching a stripper act. I wonder if there is concurrent physical manipulation/release. It simply perturbs me to contemplate that alleged adults are so easily entertained. But, otherwise, 'Tubers wouldn't cash in!!

Although the Surge is tough, I just cannot take anyone seriously when using a folding knife to baton.
@joshuagenovese36 Жыл бұрын
I didn't even take myself seriously 😅😂 I would never do this with a knife or leatherman but thought why not just for testing. After I was done and there was no issue I vowed never to baton with it again. So I agree with you..lol

Great review and demonstration. There are far too few reviews on this design imo. Yours is my favorite. Your music choice went perfectly with each different task as well. The whole video was really cool and entertaining. I'm a truck driver and my crusader is waiting for me at home, at the writing of this comment. I'm two hours away; going home for Independence Day weekend. Needless to say, my anticipation is high...
