Hi Zamone. Thanks for reacting to this. Great as always. I get what you're saying. The original of 'Jagged' was amazing, but seeing Courtney do it live is just a whole different ball game. I don't know what it is, but when Courtney performs live, she just elevates her already spectacular talent exponentially. She has this unbelievable ability to infuse so much energy and emotion into the music. An incredible adrenaline rush. No greater live performer in music. Pair it with her unmatched vocals, and you create a mind boggling musical experience. Her concerts are going to be insane. Once she starts touring, and word spreads about how fabulous she is on stage, her concerts are going to be the 'in' place everyone wants to be. People will be fighting for tickets. Her shows are going to become legendary. Little bit of updated information, some of which you may already know. Courtney has said that the first of the singles from the the album will begin dropping very early next year, with the album to follow. They decided not to start dropping the singles this year during the holidays when everyone would be focused on other things, which makes perfect sense. So, it won't be long now. She also said that she has created a lot of content that she will be sharing with us on KZbin over the interim, until the first album single drops. These live versions are part of that. Also, as to be expected, there are live shows and some touring being planned for after the drop of her album. As part of the prep for that, Courtney is putting together her band. So, here (and on the live version of 'Call Me Back'), we are seeing Courtney introduce her band for the first time. They are who Courtney will be touring with post album drop. Bien, son commentaire est très juste . Je note sa réaction en fin de titre lorsque la voix de Courtney va crescendo, c'est tellement fort que l'émotion le saisi. Il note que Courtney a su dans un style musical dépouillé amener l'émotion là où elle le voulait, dans nos cœurs. Courtney a ce talent, cette force vocale et gestuelle, cette sincérité qui font que l'on s'immerge nous aussi dans son histoire. Ce n'est plus un titre, c'est notre histoire aussi, quelque part. Hi Zamone. Always cool to see you on a Courtney reaction. Thanks for doing this. I never cease to be amazed at what Courtney can do. A voice that can rock a stage one minute and then come back and rip your heart out with the rawness and intensity that she puts into a gritty ballad like this. Unmatched vocal power, control and versatility. Music is always a sensory experience, but when Courtney sings, it's as much of a visual experience as it is an audio one. It's like a wave of feeling and emotion that washes over you. I don't know of any other artiest that can create that kind of effect in her listeners, like Courtney can. Also, and I experienced this first hand when I saw her live at Carnegie Hall. Courtney is the greatest artist and vocalist I've ever heard, but when she's singing live, she somehow manages to take that greatness up another couple of levels. No one else like her in music, and it's always a privilege, and pure joy, to be able to see and hear her perform. Courtney said more content coming soon, so hope to see you on many more Courtney reactions in the near future. IDK if it's what Courtney does when she's working with live musicians or I'm just excited because these are two of the people she's planning on touring with and they're so good, but I got CHILLS!!! I think she was planning on 3 or 4 new singles this year and the album right after New Year, but I think that's changed to more live versions of her current singles this year, new singles starting right after New Year, and the album in the spring, but IDK if that means touring gets pushed back too. Courtney's always said album first, then touring, but now I think maybe touring starts before the album drops.
