Any help for Anterior pelvic tilt?
@marnitransport2539 сағат бұрын
Thank you kindly. Is stenosis meant to feel like your neck is instable??? like a bowling ball siting on pencil????
@More4Life8 сағат бұрын
Not necessarily. Neck instability is an indicator of weak neck stabilizing muscles, particularly the deep neck flexors. That can happen either with or without stenosis. It's more likely that instability would lead to stenosis than stenosis leading to instability.

How long did these studies go for?
@More4Life19 сағат бұрын
This was a systematic review, so it compiled all of the studies on the topic. The study length varied from study to study, but they categorized the results in short (up to 3 months), medium (4-6 months), and long-term effects > 6 months.

hey doc, i was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and tibial stress syndrome 2 days ago, but i kept on feeling numbness and weakness in my leg. Why would that be?
@More4LifeКүн бұрын
It depends on where the weakness and numbness is. Tarsal tunnel syndrome vs. L4 radiculopathy would be two things to rule out, but it could be other things as well. You'd need to see a healthcare professional in person to get an accurate diagnosis.

#1. I’ve had a total knee replacement, with complications, that led to a bending manipulation. I now have a “numbness” on the right hand side, ( looks like L5 on your diagram), but also sharp pain if it gets knocked or touched. My surgery was 10 months ago and I can’t even kneel on the bed, too painful. I’ve been treated originally by Physio and then tried Exercise Physio but it’s still there. I’m new to your channel but am going to look and see if you can help. Very informative. Thanks

There's a nerve that runs right behind your outer knee called the fibular nerve which can sometimes get affected with the surgery or a manipulation. Here's one exercise that may help: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oICckq1jbaxpndk Here's another video that may give you insight: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIbLh2aqhKppppo *Note: There's no guarantee either of these will help. If the nerve was accidentally cut, it is possible that there could be permanent damage. Good luck!

I have lower right achy pain in my back. I am actually left-handed and my body leans to the left. If I lay flat on a bed and do stretches. That usually relieves the pain for a bit. It just always comes back.

In my experience, using a tennis ball for this purpose can be painful IF you hit the right spot and usually that's 'the good kind of pain' that brings sweet relief after treatment. 😌
@h.tantamoq87433 күн бұрын
Excellent explanation; I have a foam roller too and it's such a relief when you hear pops. Makes me gasp for a second but after that, breathing is much easier for days/weeks. But as you said, it's a short term solution (I think there's always an underlying issue like bad posture, lack of full body movement every day etc).

Very many thanks indeed for an excellent and informative video Dr Candy! I always loved exercise at school and in the holidays mum and my sister and I used to ride our bikes all the way to the sea (18 mile round journey), we all swam for as long as we could before the cycle home. My husband and I always did a lot of walking and aerobics until arthritis set in, even then we’ve both exercised as much as possible. Foolishly, in my youth I took up smoking, thankfully I quit 26 years ago, even so in 2020 I was diagnosed with mild asthma and copd, now I’ve learned that if I don’t exercise as much as possible I’ll become worse sooner! I now do exercises for copd which are here on YT, plus I walk diagonally from the side of the kitchen through to the bottom of the stairs and back for a count of 5 x 40 steps every hour. I always feel very chuffed with myself and look upon exercise as my friend! If others diagnosed happen to read this post, I really hope they do the same as me and hundreds of others. I so hope plenty of people listen to your video and learn from it as its amazing!!

What if it’s the inner thigh burning and tingling? I see your chart but my pain shows in the blue area nerve. Would this be a different name and would I do the same or different exercises. Thanks
@More4Life4 күн бұрын
The inner thigh is innervated by the obturator nerve, which comes from the L2, L3, and L4 nerves in the lower back. Here's a video about inner thigh pain: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z53PpH5_fNKLb5I
