Worked for Mr Don and Mr Jack at the stockyard for a looong time. Probably hauled a hundred thousand head into and out of there too.

I surely love this video! My very first experience with riding a horse at 5 or 6 years old was with Don, Chad, and Lynn! I've never forgotten it! I will love this family I call my cousins until eternity ends! Special people with special hearts and souls and I love them each one!

I see a lot of articles about the Wagoner ranch on youtube, yet no one ever mentions the 3D stock farm in Arlington Tex. They had a first class thurobred 1 mile race track with a large grand stand and a smaller one for the people of color. It had many horse barns for other horses and a huge training barn for the Wagoner horses.. They raced there in 1935, 1936, and 1937..Wagoner had some thurobred stallions he used to pasture breed mares at the big ranch in Vernon. Across the way they had 2 polo.30 stall barns. In the early fortys they were breeding Quarter horses . Bob Burtion was the forman, he was breaking Poco Bueno. I rember going to the north side colisum with Bob, He was roping calves on Pretty Buck. Later on they had 2 brood mare pastures where they pasturer bred with Poco bueno and Pretty Buck. It was the home of Poco Tivo, Poco Lena, Snipper W, Jessie James and others. Me, My father and brothers all worked there. I could tell you a lot more jimsteel33@hotmail,com Thanks, Jim Horan

Sorry I'd be more impressed to see Pur Tee sell for $7000 I believe as a 2 yr old went on to make $112,000 now that's impressive.
