As a youngster in the early seventies started collecting German helmets yeah the real ones that I still have to this day the first one I bought Under twenty bucks m42 The next one is a m35 Then I ran across a other m42 that led to a awesome m18 then I discovered rock and roll Probably because of that summer between middle school and high school years later I got a m40 that has the impression of a SS

@@wartimenews unlike other creators who use GoPro and such I zip tie my phone in between my top two buttons on my uniform, so that just the camera and the camera alone is sticking out and recording

Hey man! I was one of the GIs on Utah at the end. This was not only cool to see a German perspective, but it’s incredible how you started at the edge of Omaha and ended up at Utah! Great video!

Yeah for some reason GIs like to think since they play the "hero" role and won the war that none of them deserve to take hits. It makes me respect German reenactors more

The Germans are the ones who run around and still fight and surrender and lose day after day while the Americans (not all of them are like this some are better than others) but they charge up to the enemy trench with not taking a hit and kill everyone with a pistol or they walk when being fired at 🤦🏻like why?
