That was very helpful, thank you! Tonight it is my goal to create a lying down setup for my laptop and switch lite only with things I have at home. I did not think of turning the monitor around before, that will help. ❤😊 How is your neck pain now after some month of lying down? I hope you feel much better! For your floor setup I would suggest to put a pillow under your upper legs for better spinal support.

It is! And yes, I believe you have to hold the Option key when you go to System Preferences/Display Settings (or something like that) and an option to change the screen rotation will be presented

Quick question you might know, should I use the same SAM App to create multiple lambda funcitions? If so, how would I do that in VS Code? Or usually we should create one new SAM App per Lambda function?
@codevevАй бұрын
Great question! I'd have to look to make sure but I think you can just edit your template.yml file to include multiple functions and then just copy the one that was generated before into its own folder/file. If they need to share the same configuration/resources you can use the Globals section of the SAM template. docs.aws.amazon.com/serverless-application-model/latest/developerguide/sam-specification-template-anatomy-globals.html

In theory it should be fine and the concepts should be applicable to any language. But if you're looking for more Python-specific things, I've read amzn.to/49EqA9d and amzn.to/3OPtCPO (just the first edition of the latter though). I'd probably pick up the latter one since pytest can be really confusing and things are done a bit differently in Python versus c#

@@codevev thanks! :) But what is the best practice to have "global" variables that could change during runtime? E.g. Experience Points in a game
@codevev4 ай бұрын
Usually you would have classes that represent some game state or players and inside them you'll have class instance variables, you would usually refer to them using self. E.g. self.health and then you can change those inside the functions that you need. That's probably how it would work but I've not really done any game development so you may want to look at other resources specific to game dev :)
