John Barry's music score fits extremely well with the Enterprise. 👍

I was a wide-eyed ten year old back in 1965, watching this on a 16 inch black and white TV. The music, the expansive shots of the desert landscape--- I genuinely believed these people were really on an alien planet.

I understand the land had to be returned to its original appearance after the show was over but blowing the buildings up as a way of ending the show? Who ever thought that was a good idea?

That disappeared from the seen in later shows. I'm not sure what I thought of it in later shows. I was only ten years old so I am sure there was very little thought put behind it lol.

2:27 the untold story: this monster was a stand up comedian and was just telling his jokes and working his material. Since the Robinsons didn't laugh because they didn't understand his language and he has really big and scary, the monster-comedian threw bolders at them out of frustration.

yes. one of the best sequences ever, especially for the 60s and me as a kid. The desolation, the music. I also loved the black and white episode where they are shouting out Wiiilll
