After all that and you didn't even fractal the skull. Pluss mounted with the screws through the front. Perhaps Dowell it from the rear for a cleaner mount. I am curious what your solution for the fractal is. Looks like borax and not so much baking soda. Like how you got your raw materials from your backyard too. Nice work honestly

Corruption didn't bother me much - was more listening than watching - good video, sensible advice. Just wanted to mention how jealous I am of your wood stove in the workshop. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland and it's a smoke-free city. :-(

Thanks heaps mate. My earlier videos were not very high quality, it took a while to sort through the issues. Glad you liked my advice! I hear that Scotland is a lovely place, I would love to visit one day.

@Sandy Kerr Wait, what? Since when has "Auld Reekie" been smoke free?
@TheIdeasGuy2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching mate :)
@snovku2 жыл бұрын
@@djjodav By 1995, Edinburgh was declared a Smoke Control Area; this means that wood and standard coal can only be burned within certain kinds of appliances and stoves which have passed a Government test to show that they can burn these materials without producing smoke. Wood and standard coal cannot be burned in an open fire and a `traditional` log burning stove cannot usually be used within a smoke control area. :-(

Can this be done with pvc pipe?
@TheIdeasGuy4 жыл бұрын
I mean, you could make a walking cane with PVC and paint it steampunk colours if you’re good with paint effects. I’m not very good at painting so it’s not something I would attempt. It also wouldn’t have the same weight or strength but if it was just to be an accessory then sure. I made mine to be useable when I was having some troubles with one of my legs so it needed to be strong as well as look the part.

how grippy is the tip? i would imagine it isnt very good for smooth surfaces
@TheIdeasGuy4 жыл бұрын
It’s surprisingly grippy. It works very well on everything from carpet and grass to timber and concrete. I have not tried it on tiles, it might be somewhat slippery there but I don’t have many tiles in my house to test it on and while it is very strong and functional, I really did build it as just an ornament.
@dark967444 жыл бұрын
@@TheIdeasGuy good thing cane tips are a thing. It serves its function well as a decorative piece but its good to know its functional too
