Super cool. I have a gen 1 foil drive assist that I am thinking of converting to tow boogie, do you think the batterie and motor from this kit would be sufficient?

Awesome project!! Would you mind posting a BOM (Build of Materials), especially the motor and batteries?

Please do another update on this. what weight person can it tow up, board size etc. steering techniques. improvements you might suggest. looks like a great build compared to 6-7K at retail.

It looks like you removed the 5th line, right? Does it affect how it flies?

So you dont steer it from the remote? you just pull on the rope to change direction?
@Father_DaughterFoilers
@Father_DaughterFoilers 6 ай бұрын
correct! just pull on the rope. I thought about adding a servo for turning but I want to keep it simple

@@raphmermontagne To be honest i wouldn't go 11 or 13 , not great, 8 is a great session saver and as good as 11 or 13 with surf foil, but got all of them except 13 .haven't pumped LEI in a year at least, love the peaks

@@Father_DaughterFoilers hey Gus! can you remind the wind force you'll have this day and also how many meters of lines. i'm in 1000 and 1200 front wing and look for the 6knots sessions.... best regards
@Father_DaughterFoilers
@Father_DaughterFoilers 3 жыл бұрын
@@freerideattitude hey! 6knots seems ambitious for a 6m kite! once you are up it might not be a problem, but you will need to be light and be able to loop like crazy ;-). the lower I go is on 8kn otherwise I use the 12m hyperlink. in terms of lines, I use the 13m, but perhaps with 25 you will be able to make it at 6Knots....let me know how you go! cheers and have fun in the water!
