I kept only black and red cable of the USB cable and joined two power bank in series means joined one black cable from one power bank to red cable of another power bank USB cable. Then remaining red and black cable joined to the power cable of the fish finder: red to red and black to black and insulated individually with tape. Hope this is clear now.

@@SMRussel thanks. Did you have to join two cables since each usb cable outputs 5v and you need at least 10v to power the Garmin? I'm guessing two USB cables will provide enough current in this case... On that note could you just get a single power bank that has two USB ports and accomplish the same thing?

Jeremy Lee you are welcomed. That’s why I put two powerbank in series to get 10v. Current is sufficient as the setup working just fine for me. For one powerbank with two ISB outlet, I did not check whether that will work or not! You may check and update us. Thanks.

@@SMRussel i tried with both USB outlets from a single battery pack but it doesn't like it. Maybe there's some sort risk of short circuit ? My power bank led blinks when I try to do that. Otherwise it does work in series with two separate power banks. This is a nice idea for multi-use of a couple power banks. You can use them to charge a phone or other devices at the same time. Btw how much runtime are u getting off your setup? If each power bank is 10000mah that should give you 20000mah total which seems to be a lot of run time. I would only need 4-5 hours at a time so I wonder if the smaller lipstick type chargers would work for this purpose
