Hi James. I'm looking at potentially grabbing one of these frames and a customized Outslayer muay thai bag shipped to Australia and was wondering, did you opt to have yours soft-filled or just regular filled? I'm still trying to figure out which one would be best suited for me and the one that your showing looks about what I'm looking for.

Is this bag “filled” or “soft filled” per Outslayer website. I’m trying to figure out the difference between the two.

Just bought this stand and will be delivered in a few weeks. Can anchor it down as much as I need but my major concern was....will it hold up and am I going to slam my toes into the steel? You've solved both those questions. Sure I'll happy with my purchase.

I think it would be better drilled and bolted down to the floor

Thank you for this wonderful review. Other reviewers did not hit as hard and didn't use enough counterweights, making the stand look flimsy. Thanks again! Will be picking one up now!

Really appreciate the review! Was browsing around for a solid punching bag, I can’t stand the standard ones that move around too much most places sell.

how much you paid for the stand???... dont know how everyone else is not taking this approach in a stand bag.. I hate those pegs that the other stands offer

It was the Double Pro Station. I paid $980. To be honest, I don't use the speed bag often. So, if I had to do it again, would probably not get the Double Pro Station, just go with the regular stand and save some money.

This is the Muay Thai punching bag (I believe they also sell regular punching bags, so don't make that mistake). According to the website, this bag is 6ft apx 130-150lbs filled and 14" diameter. I will say it is solid all over. Thought it would just be heavy on the very bottom, but surprisingly solid through the middle which is good in my opinion for shin conditioning.

I’d like the 100+ banana bag but I’m wondering if I have to get their stand or if I could use my Everlast stand I already have? It’s over 6 feet. Would it work? Thanks

the everlast has pegs on the bottom dont it? you are going to break your foot if you ever hit those

I would echo lapincheriatota's comment below. I believe punching bag stands have metal extensions on the bottom and their spacing isn't the same as Banana bag stands. The foot has so many small bones, and as you get tired in training, it would only take 1 miscalculation to kick the metal by accident and you're out of training for a while.

Thanks for the vid, quick question, we’re did u get the speed bag attachment?, I c it on Amazon but it doesn’t come wit one

I bought a Title Speed Bag separately. You are correct, it does not come with one. To be clear, the deluxe stand bought off the Outslayer website comes with the actual wooden circular attachment portion with metal hook, but you need to purchase the actual speed bag separately.

Thank you very much, James! Great review. I just got one. Putting it together. They sent me empty sand bags and I was concerned that it wouldn't be enough weight on the base.

Whats the foot print on that thing
@colombia223
@colombia223 3 жыл бұрын
It's 7 ft. 4 inches. in height but I believe it can go as high as 7 ft 8 inches and can be lowered as well. From front to back and side to side, I would leave 5 ft each way to be safe. Depending on how the sandbags protrude or how many you have, it could add a few for inches.

Hey there James, Question. My ceiling is 6ft 10inches. Would i be able to lower to that height?
@colombia223
@colombia223 2 жыл бұрын
@@rigo9473 Not sure. I would call their customer service to double check. The bag alone is 6 ft, and if you look at the video, there is hardware up top. I believe the hardware is there to for shock absorption, it helps to diffuse the force applied to the bag and the stand. I think I bought an extra spring for it, but adding it would have made it too tall.
