Anyone have thoughts on Blinds versus good camo and background?

Definitely a beginners tutorial, but all the information I was taught when I started and it made all the difference. As you get older, blinds are the way to go....

Guy obviously never watched videos of when people turn their heads away from a predatory cat.

I'm jealous. That is so cool to see, and that they didn't take off running from him either, is amazing. He's so lucky.

This guys put these precious cats in jeopardy. If they attack him they will be euthanized. Not a sharp tool in the shed.

You obviously have no idea of my qualifications or the terrain I was in, I did exactly what I should have done, I made no aggressive moves or sounds and kept calm. There was no egress from the other side of the bridge so staying put and keeping calm was the correct thing to do... And... there have been ZERO recorded attacks on humans by panthers in the wild.

In my travels I've seen black bears, brown bears a lynx and a wolf, but never a mountain lion / panther, though I suspect I've probably been seen by more than one.

No harassing, just calmly fishing on an old beat up bridge with no easy means of egress. They went into the bush and I calmly gathered my gear and went home.

The bridge isn't old, and it's a wildlife overpass. You should have stood down. Do that next time, would you? These creatures are rare and don't need anyone's interference. Thanks.
@TheOutdoorsGuy16

It's not a wildlife overpass, it is used by vehicles and FWC. and the bridge is over 40 years old.

Being from florida this is actually not uncommon. Especially after an major storms. Hurricanes will drive alot of the wild life outta the wild into cities and the fact ppl keep cutting down our trees like where r these animals supposed to go frfr

I am one of those too which are very lucky to have seen a Florida Panther in the wild. It was quite a number of years ago that my two kids and their Mom was driving along the road to Flamingo in Everglades National Park. It was in the fall and there were no other cars on this road. So any way as we were driving along all at once this big " cat " slowly up over side of the road and then across the road and down the other side. There was no mistake about it , it was a Florida Panther. We were dumb founded and so lucky.

I just saw one from afar a week ago I live in NE Florida. I thought it was a dog at first until I saw it move. I was in the woods with my dog. I also found it’s dropping’s which were in the middle of the path and full of blonde hair. Like completely full of hair. At first I thought” wow someone’s dog has a serious licking problem”😂 then it hit me and I took my ass back home 😂

Good video, but approaching two Panthers on foot is a very stupid thing to do. Lots of people are attacked by animals that "Never Attack Humans." Don't believe everything you've been told. Give these beautiful creatures a little respect and a lot of distance.
