Jeez...thanks for that. Had me puzzled on how to get below 36 seconds. Though when pressing jump on the movable block, can't get it high enough on first go. Only got 37 seconds now after several attempts.

In the old version of the game you can buffer the next jump (by pressing jump a shortly before landing), then the jump will be a little higher.

yeah games with text that scrolls/has animation are generally faster with chinese due to more being conveyed with fewer symbols

To clip into a corner, you need to have unlocked fps (250+, the more the better), then you need to activate slow motion and spam forward. FPS is unlocked in the Vanila, in Terminal Cut it seems to be locked at 60.

Когда вы доберетесь до второй части «Стрелка», сразу после той двери, через которую вы проходите с лазерной сеткой, почему ловушки «Тайфун» не сработали? Я пытался повторить твой путь, но они всегда наверху, а не в земле.

Плохо понял вопрос. Предположу, что вопрос про The Missing Link. Если поднять тревогу на корабле, на базе будут активны тайфуны. Если на базе пройти через лазеры без использования невидимости или какой-то предмет коснётся лазеров тайфуны будут активны.

Hey there's this other game called White Gold/Xenus 2, it has the same exact game engine as The Precursors, current WR run doesn't bhop properly nor did they know about the underwater launches, im sure you could find a really good route!

dude I think you can take the small pond on lvl1 to the planet you fly to, working on it but i've been able to get near it, you just have to be slightly deep in the pond for a launch

It's possible, but remember don't swim too far, otherwise you'll lose your reputation with the empire. This is a segmented run, it worked once kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaqtm6Z6fcikmLc But you need to change FPS using Rivatuner Statistics Server, or something similar.

@@c0y0tl bro this game is an amalgamation of shit, dying from falling more than 2ft, dying from randomness, this game is literally so random, I finally beat it but wtf this game is ridiculous, even in a speedrunning aspect, I guess I'll have to grind to try to pull off first lvl skip bc that was horrendous

Yes, there is quite a lot of randomness in this game. Any bounce from the surface is random. To survive you need to fly as parallel as possible, but there is always a chance that you will bounce unsuccessfully. Good luck making this skip.

Bind Forward to Scroll Wheel Up or Down. Speed in water will depend on FPS and scroll speed.

This game is underrated. Interesting to see how much different the strat is compared to the SDA run (only other DXIW run I've seen before this one), I guess from being optimized for wallclock time instead of ingame time. I wish DX/DXIW running were more active
