With you saying it’s the weakest season I’d have to disagree with you just from what we’ve seen. I’d say the weakest season was season 3 solider boy was hyped up and did nothing everything was the same as it started other than butcher getting sick, the powers stuff was cool but nothing really happened. To your point of keeping important characters alive I can’t blame the show for that because they’re wouldn’t be a show if that happened. Me personally there’s no one on “the boys” team that I want to die atleast not yet. If this show was in its 6th season yea I’d be upset but like 3 seasons in with only 8 episodes each I’m still enjoying watching this unfold. To the point of politics I don’t take this show seriously at all. I found it funny when homelander said that idk Maybe that’s just me. I like when the humor is on the nose because there’s people who are actually like that and that’s funny to me.

I still enjoy his content but if you don’t have actual valid criticisms other than agendas you’ll just start disliking everything you watch nowadays

Ep 1-4 are so bad, but Episode 5 was really good, it felt like a back to formula. And episode 6 looks like is going to be great!

@@RodoFoolboyTV I don’t like the direction they have been pushing the show. They crap all over the conservative side but don’t equal things out. The stories are moving in a direction that seems to politically driven in general and the part about Huey getting “tortured” garnered a laugh from the shows creator but he said the thing that happened to starlight in season one was reprehensible even though approving it. Plus I’m super salty over black noir getting killed. Also thank you for the shout out I live to protect angel grove.

@@RodoFoolboyTV That's fair enough. Frankly, I probably got your video in my feed due to me watching Critical Drinker recently, rather than the Boys. And since I more often than not will look to reviewers like him to recommend movies and such, I wanted to verify if he made a mistake. I didn't even watch his video about the Boys, but I had an idea on what he would probably say. If he really didn't watch the season, his opinion is practically worthless. Either way, I don't need him to tell me the season sucks since I watched it lol. If you like the season bro you don't need me or drinker to tell you it sucks. I'm glad you like it, but it's clearly not the popular take. A lot of people just don't like the direction they went, and that's all the reasoning they need.

@@crabhater9373​​⁠I don’t mean to nitpick, but it’s ratings are actually up 20 percent. And this season had amazon’s second biggest debut. Now you could argue that debut size was because people didn’t know the season was going to be bad, but considering it’s not that different in tone and quality from the previous seasons I personally find that hard to believe. And this last bit is strictly anecdotal but I personally think this season is some of the best we’ve had since season 1. I hope it doesn’t come across like I’m saying your opinion is wrong. If you don’t like it, you’re of course welcome to think that. However I don’t think you’re as much in the majority as you think

I agree I think with anything you should see for yourself and make your own opinion. This show is not trash it’s biggest flaw is it’s boring and a chore to watch. If the bar for great anime adaptation are alita battle angel and one piece and the worst being cowboy bebop and dragon ball evolution it’s right In the middle Also both of us are fans of the anime with Foolboy it’s his favorite anime and with me (Rodo) I’m a casual fan so you can see both perspectives

I hear you a lot of my issues comes with the writing and the story me personally I’d rather quality then quantity

Just think about it out of the founding avengers this is what we get for a fourth film. Imagine iron man 4 or a captain America 4 with Steve like they would’ve had a proper ending with character development and a good plot this was not that for Thor

I know there’s people who can just go and enjoy a movie like this but I personally need superhero movies to be more than shallow entertainment it muddys the water iMO

@@RodoFoolboyTV It would be a good idea, the 1st one did something about all might. But i would like a film in which Other heroes have more protagonism like in the 2nd movie. This could have been the best MHA movie but, honestly, It felt like a waste of time.
