Hot Springs, SD, towards the south end of the Black Hills. Former Victorian spa town. Walking tours of the town, antiques, hot springs water park, Battle Mt , enclosed Mammath dig where even kids can participate, near wild horse sanctuary, beautiful drive into WY. We could easily spend two full days there.

The video was difficult to watch because of your background music. Had to keep turning the volume down. Good way to wreck a good video

It's a shame the Mexican people are left to "donations" because the Mexican government hasn't figured out how to ride the coattails of America to success like Canada has figured out no problem. God forbid Mexico emulate Canada. That makes too much sense. And can't have that now, can we? Motto of Mexico: "Stop making sense". lol

I'm going there the first week in June. I booked for two days just in case the weather is an issue. Definitely worth the extra $45 for an additional ticket to see. I'll be staying in Aguas Calientes for teo nights as well. I can't wait!

When we were there, they showed us where they had dug down to the temple that is underneath the current temple and told us that there was another temple under even that one. Do you know where I could get more information about those earlier temples?

I absolutely love this video. I'm originally from Duluth, Minnesota and I miss my home state. Living out of state makes me appreciate all that I've seen and been able to do up the North Shore of Minnesota Highway 61 North. Thank you for providing such a beautiful video. It brought me to tears on how much I love and miss it.

Excellent video. As a frequent traveler and knowing my gente, just outside the crossing is a speed trap. Limit is 25 mph which all new visitors violate. A good tip is to set you cruise control to 25mph. Locals may honk and tailgate but they will go around you. Also, very common for cars to yell and scream at you but they are all bark and no bite. If cops stop you, do not leave road, go to station and pay fine. If you pull out your wallet loaded with bills your fine just doubled. I always keep just a few one dollar bills in wallet and stash elsewhere.

I’ve seen A lot of crazy people on Instagram for years saying the Bonampak murals depict black people but I know for a fact that’s completely not true. There are still millions of maya people alive today in Mexico and Central America who look identical to these paintings. My Country El Salvador 🇸🇻 is also home to people who look identical to these paintings.

😂there’s still black folk in Mexico. These people never left. My ancestors trace back to mexico. So you might need to do some more research

@@Bobbyxhuggy the most ancient human skeletons found in Mexico are related to my people. Modern day indigenous people. Skeletons of your people that predate European colonizers have never been found in Mexico. You’re not indigenous to there.

First, what a great video! Thanks for sharing our culture with the world ! Just one thing, the cholula pyramid was not build by the Mayans . There were so many other cultures in what now is Mexico and Central america ,like the Olmecs, toltecs, aztecs etc

I could truly feel your disappointment...in the first minutes of the video, 'cause we had the same experience in Madeira, at the most famous hike... couldn't see a thing😭😭 So HAPPY you could see something in the end!! I think i would have cried my ass off to be there and could not see the iconic view :)))When have you been there? Cause i'm planning my honeymoon there at the end of November 😶‍🌫

I'm glad to see you decided to turn back. As you said safety first. It would suck if something happened and you had to be rescued. I lived in Seattle so I have been to Rainier countless times. I did a lot of hiking but never attemped to ascend to the top. Lots of great hiking trails with spectacular views. Hope you can try again.
