The candy store vs the sofa store is a very interesting question. If you look at Esports as a way to sell ads and get peoples attention the candy store analogy is perfect. If we are talking about selling games or DLC then the sofa analogy is very apt IMO. Would SF6 ("Sofas") sell much less without commentators or if there are bad commentators i dont think so. Would the viewership of Capcom cup and therefore ads and people's attention suffer without commentary and less "Sweets" be sold, i think so. Obviously the real question you guys are discussing how much does a good vs bad commentator matter?

Yeah I think I saw this being the issue after I watched it back. Next time I talk with someone about it I think I would have to show the different perspectives and show why I think the Sofa analogy is more relevant too Commentary.

If you mean cross up. Berserker slash is from Marvel Vs Capcom a move that Wolverine does that can and can not cross up. Rekka is from the Xrd Leo where he could cancel his 236 into cross up into another move.... Like how other Rekka's.

@@IamC4IQ Yes, people call 236+S/H Berserker Slash because it looks and functions the same. Leo can't cancel into another move from it so it's not a rekka in Strive. I see that it used to be a rekka in Xrd though.

@@Geist2140 yeah I get that, but Berserker slash has invul on it where Leo's doesn't. Asthetically they are the same but functional there not. The cross up has the same properties as it did in Rev and is way easier to type Rekka then Berserker slash.
