I just had a look at her and she's adorable! ⭐ Thank you this sprite's design was geared around the idea that it'd need a lot of animations if it were a main character to a game. It's interesting to hear she stands out among my other ones though!

Nothing to say, I'm amazed and really like how it turned out. I prefer the original one, but that's just personal preference. I also appreciate how you showed all the trial and error. When I think about fall, what comes to mind are fallen leaves and who has to clean all that up? The gardener with his trusty rake. Maybe he works for a wealthy family, maybe he's old or maybe someone in the comments has a better suggestion lol.

Thank you! ⭐ I can see why'd you'd prefer the original one! I feel like they blend a little better! This is true for everything in life. Javed Akhtar recently said something along these lines: "Most people can do most things, it's just that when you're doing something new, you're going to suck at the beginning, and when you look at your work and see that it's bad, you get discouraged. Most people quit in these early stages after this discouragement and never achieve greatness - greatness comes to those who persevere despite sucking at start."

For those looking to start their pixel art journey, I highly recommend using the Earthbound series (a forgotten franchise made by Nintendo) as a reference to work off of. The simplistic and basic visuals made it easy for me to learn pixel art🎨

One thing you've missed in your video: commitment. It takes dedication to bring an idea to life through game development. I can't even begin to tell you how many projects I've been a part of that ended up scrapped because of a lack of motivation and commitment😭
@erisesra19 күн бұрын
Ooo! Good point! I'd say it's the same point I try to get across with the patience portion! You have to stay committed to finishing the project, even if you have to take time away from it! Commitment could certainly be it's own category though! XD A fair point indeed.

You draw pixel art very well! I don't know what your skill level is, but you're clearly talented. I have some experience with character design. However, I'm more proficient in UI and environment art

I don't think I've met someone with those strengths before! What got you curious about UI?
@Taronic44921 күн бұрын
@erisesra To be honest, I don't really have a straight answer. I just dabbled in UI design and just stuck with it, I guess. All the game jams I participated in encouraged me to try out different things, you know?

Hello, it's nice to meet another pixel artist! I'm new to your channel and I just subscribed! I'm sorry your college experience wasn't all that great. But I can relate to the struggles that you dealt with on campus. For me, I went to a four-year college in Massachusetts to study game design. It was a decent program, however it definitely had its flaws. I especially hated being forced to take computer science in my first year when I didn't know anything about it. But the only good takeaway from college was teaching myself how to create pixel art. So, it wasn't all bad. But I certainly won't recommend college to anybody else. Also, congratulations on publishing your first game!👏
@erisesra21 күн бұрын
Hello! Hello! ⭐ I'm happy you found me and happy you like what you see, thank you! I certainly think there's ups and downs! It was 'nice' but not the, "If you don't go to college you won't get anywhere. You need a degree. Go get one." type of thing. Only necessary in certain circumstances like wanting to join AAA Studios. It's unfortunate you had to take classes without the proper requisites! I had the opposite problem XD Too many requisites that it took me 2 years of previous courses to get to making games. It's nice to hear that's how you stumbled into pixelart though! At least something good came out of it! And thank you! It was a little ambitious to do it in 24 Hours, but XD I don't think I would have committed to finishing it otherwise- Good luck on your pixelart journey! ⭐
