He does have eyes in the back of his head, its called MAWS, "missile advanced warning system" and it detects IR and SARH missiles fired, and fires the appropriate countermeasures.

Actually, that's just the DED data getting reflected in the HUD -- I pull the bingo fuel page up to have accurate fuel info in the HUD

PC specs are: 5800X3D cpu, 4080 GPU, b550 motherboard, 64GB DDR4 3600 RAM. I use a HP reverb g2 headset, and WinWing HOTAS

I have rtx 4070 and bms falcon gives me just 70 Fps in air and 40 on ground in campaign and I had to decrease object detail from 7-5, cut antiliasing to 1 and no trees and reflections. And bms falcon has shitty graphics

Are you in VR? I'm not too familiar with BMS Falcon, but with DCS I can't run it at max settings with the 4080 in VR (more like 80-85% graphics) and no anti-aliasing or DLSS.

I use OBS Studio, and have it record directly from DCS! There are some good OBS Studio tutorials here on YT. Note: What you see is pretty comparable to what I am seeing through my headset as well.

@@JMArm97 Does OBS have anything to reduce the shakiness? I've been recording with geforce experience and using motion smoothing in post but its not always the best solution.

@@Volcrum If it does, I haven't really used it. I haven't done much in post here other than color grading. Other than color/exposure, this is pretty much straight from the headset.

Thank you! I referenced EGGRO's HP Reverb G2 Settings Guide for 2023. You can find it on YT and it has all the settings you'll need to run in VR. I'm favoring FPS over graphics quality, but luckily the 4080 is a great card and can do a bit of both. Reverb G2 has a max refresh of 90 FPS, so that's what I target. 80-90 is what I normally get.

@@JMArm97 Nice! Well, I do that too: favoring FPS over graphics quality. I usually get 60 FPS on GS with, 2.3 PD plus a few mid-high specs. There is not much info on solid best practices, so when I see someone on DCS VR I use to ask. Thanks!

The Verticooler require any tuning for you?

You can slap the intercooler on without any problems, but if you want to get the full performance benefits a tune is definitely recommended. It does an amazing job even in the South Florida heat.

hey I have a 2013 WRX and just bought the grimmspeed AOS. how was the install? which install instructions did you use. there are so many variations out there that I don't know which one to use. also the instructions grimmspeed gives you, I have no idea what they are trying to do BC theirs is different than mine is laid out. I have yet to do install.

Install was kind of a PITA.. Took me roughly 3 hours by myself. The real tricky part was working the new hoses around the Verticooler. Other than that, it was a relatively clean install. I used the instructions that GrimmSpeed provided and watched some videos if I ran into any problems
