I know it's strange that I would choose to experience this mass over a year after it was celebrated, but it is such a blessing. The homily made me think of a Hoarders show I recently watched in which the therapist was trying to help the woman be willing to let go of her overwhelming piles of 'treasures'. He explained to her all the things she wouldn't be able to do with so much stuff in the way and then told her "You will never be able to be happy if you don't give most of this up." It's kind of the other side of the coin from the doing mentioned in the sermon, but both are needed and it has been a blessing to be encouraged by Fr. Peter to be reminded that true happiness is only obtained through doing what we don't want to do (at least at first) and giving up what gets in the way of my spiritual duties and development. It's a lot of hard work and I'd rather go play. Hugs to Fr. Peter for being so honest about his own experiences with these things.

BEAUTIFUL ! A glimpse of CHRISTMAS JOY

When i go to the church, i always visit the almost life size image of Our Lady of Guadalupe & pray to her, afterwards, i also almost smirked at to whoever painted this, had not given Her justice due to her eye. But now i know how She was not even painted. This image was God's gift to us, that we people should believe.

Am So sorry,i missed this for all those 25yrs in marian missions to poor islands, due to net problems & bz skeds in tending d poor n sick in far areas only accessible by small boats amidst big waves esp in typhoon Season, that only weekly catechism, but daily rosary & masses were our offerrings to God thru Mary, all for Jesus. And this is why our sacred religion is under attack everyday. She stands for the poor, the indigenous, the European, the black and love of famliy. The nucleus is family and this is a huge threat to many deviants. They want to divide and conquer but with her standing to protect us…nothing else need not apply. The question that bothers me a lot is what exact fitness exercises we can do as many of them have yoga origin. I am not a professional athlete, I don't know which ones have, which don't. When I visit the gym, I do everything the coach tells me to but how can I be confident that this or that specific exercise is not spirituality dangerous for me? I want to do sport, but first of all I want to be faithful to God. Nowadays many Christians do yoga [only exercises, not spiritual things], they think it's ok. But I don't. I want to be pure in this

Young people refuse to enter a church once they leave the family nest. Not one young person in my large, Catholic, Italian family goes to church. We are entering a new age!!! God loves us as a Father and we don't need to earn that love. Catholicism is all about earning God's love, earning heaven, and Catholics park themselves in a pew every Sunday and watch ceremony! Jesus was not about watching, but doing!!! In the Catholic Church of the future, there will more involvement with soup kitchens, etc. The day of the pontifical priest is over!

Wonderful Mass as usual. I always appreciate Mass reverently celebrated. However, for at least a couple of weeks, there has been skipping a phrase..a sentence. I like to follow the transcript but it skips there as well. I want to say about every 4 minutes. Dont know if you are aware...
