The best way to explain, there were 3 humanoid species that existed before man. Atlanteans, Lemurians, and Orientals. Orientals begin part of Asia especially China. Lemurians in Africa. While white skin and blue eyes were Atlantean descent. Cross breeding change different mixed races.

Your depiction of Africans is faulty. Africans are MUCH darker. I suspect your scientifically ignorant PBS graphics designers think all Africans look like the mixed-genetic American Blacks. They don't. In fact, Africans do not consider American Blacks to be Africans. They laugh at them when they say they are Africans.

Sorry, but this theory is complete nonsense, considering that we find most diversity amongst the Indo-Europeans, not the Sub-Saharan Africans, and the other races are genetically closer to the Indo-Europeans, than the Sub-Saharan Africans, what is a clear evidence that modern-humanity have its origin in Euro-Asia, most likely in India, which used to have the most favourable environment for human development.

This is not a video about whether skin color matters or not. This should be a video that will explain to us how it came about, evolutionarily, that we differ so much in skin color. But unfortunately, neither this video nor scientists today can explain it to us. The same as the fact that we are not completely hairless and some more. They only "sell" us theories and schemes and their good wishes. So when I played this video and it started with "almost certainly" I turned it off. Not to waste time

@j-sm4554
@j-sm4554 14 күн бұрын
Sorry for my approximative answer, somebody may add more clarity to this. but from what i remember, it is especially important for unborn babies, hence the evolution advantage. Light skin can absorb more of the sunlight, which triggers a chemical reaction in the body to produce something necessary for fetal development, without which babies would be either deformed or dead at birth. Near the equator, where sunlight is stronger, the body needs to protect itself from burning, and it easily gets all the chemical reactions necessary for the baby development.
