Any links to remove the Stanton stx cartridge? Looks to be the same but feels like it might break (tonearm and headshell seem very wobbly and not attached well) if I push it off like you did? Any links?

When I have my SC1000 MK2 plugged into the wall adapter, it works fine. But when I use a battery brick that delivers 2.4a at 5v, it skips like crazy on the jog wheel. It's like it isn't keeping contact with my fingers on the platter. Is there something wrong with my SC1000?

Remote diagnoses are always difficult and sometimes not 100%. In your case, I suspect that your power bank is not delivering a clean and continuous 2A. This is particularly important for the touch sensitivity of the jog wheel. If there was a fundamental defect, the device would exhibit this behavior with every power source. Make sure that you use the supplied cable and not a long one.

"Record" as in "record player" or "vinyl record" does not have the same syllable emphasis as "record" as in "record your performance" or "record a song." Record player = RECK-erd (emphasis on RECK) Record a song = reh-CORD (emphasis on CORD)

not with the unit itself, but if you use a device afterwards, like a guitar pedal, korg kaoss etc after the output, for sure.
