“Lost” is definitely the word for it! I’m so happy I found this podcast. I keep saying that I don’t WANT to keep saying “I’m lost” but that is just how I feel as a wife and mother. God please speak!!!

If someone says all their ex's are narcissists, it's because they themselves are.
@AUTHENTICXOАй бұрын
Although that is valid, they could also be attracting narcissists by being naive or desperate. Or, like the post says, they don’t like themselves so they find people to validate the reasons why

The thing about people is they don’t like change, and that hinders them from their growth and blessings. Sometimes we have to be uncomfortable to get to the next stage in life. And criticism is one of those things that will put you in an uncomfortable space. Good talk ladies!!!!

Why can't we see "it" as additional food for thought," enhancement opportunity" or as a pathway to (necessary) discovery. The fact that there is soooooo much out there that - our not being omniscient, omnipreseent nor omnipotent - makes us all eternal students should also humble us Criticism - whether viewed as constructive or not - has led the way to discovery and progression of various nature. It's a shame that our pride often keeps us imprisoned in our own myopic worlds. As a child, I heard it said that we can learn something even from fools. That by no means means that what another has to say - positive or negative - should dictate our actions, but that consideration could lead to a better understanding or a broader grasp or deeper insight.

I'm sterile, but that part about feeling at a standstill on autopilot, and ignoring feeling alone until those feelings manifest into clinical depression? That hits hard, girl. 💚🖤

All rhose people lift you up and you give the credit to god? Rude
@cassandrasjrny4 ай бұрын
I completely understand! And it is valuable to lift and talk about!❤️ only note is that Cognitive dissonance really means you have two thoughts about yourself that are I opposition to another, one being about your self image and one threatening you self image - ultimately causing anxiety. One says for ex. “I am a tidy person” and the other observes “I have dishes in the zink”, now anxiety occurs for there is a dissonance in self image and it all starts in the cognitive and manifests in the body as anxiety:)
