I find Moga Almeri inspiring and fascinating. I see that she is from Yamagata Japan. But what throws me a little - is, her name doesn’t seem like a traditional Japanese name? No - it doesn’t matter, but I’m a curious person. Can anyone tell me more about her name? Origin? Meaning? (thank you) Excellent article about Moga Almeri: “… in Japan, the reactions were varied. There were times that I got compliments, but there were also times when I heard nothing. I think it was good that I love dancing and did not give up my style no matter what. As a result, I got lucky with this video, which went viral. Rather than being totally faithful to the original style, the important thing about street dance is to cultivate your own unique style. You must do what you feel and like, and that is how most dancers create their niche genre. While paying respect to the original style of the dance, what matters is to develop the style your way and uniquely express it.” tokion.jp/en/2022/03/22/dancer-moga-soul-and-waacking-from-yamagata/

Fuck, if I read some comments here ... ufffff. If they were perhaps from white people who somehow speak ill of dark-skinned people. I could say typical, pure typical racism. But no. Here it seems that there are a lot of people from not so white skins to the darkest possible that show with their comments a form of racism of the purest and hardest. Instead of simply valuing the way of executing the movements and the desire they show in this dance. And wow, what desire they have and how nice it is to see them dance. I really don't get it. But that proves exactly what I say many times ... bad thinkers, resentful and very foolish people exist in every culture.
