It's an interesting analogy, rowing. If we are one person in a small boat/ dinghy and have a paddle and start paddling, where does the boat go? It goes in circles. Each boat of two or more need to have a coxswain (Jesus), a person in charge of the boat, to make sure all are rowing together in the rhythm of the Holy Spirit, and heading in the same direction. Without the clear directions of the coxswain, and obedience of the rowers, each rower could paddle / row to their own rhythm and won't end up heading in the direction to where they needed to go to. They may be stuck on the water indefinitely without getting back to land; a waste of time and effort; and no fruit.

This is so refreshing; excellent teaching and passionate delivery. Some good things to reflect on further. Thank you.

Merry Christmas everyone. It's painfully clear I'm not at home in front of a camera. I'm also very grateful I didn't burst into unstoppable tears, which used to happen every time I tried to speak in front of people. We can be annoyed at ourselves for where we are ... or we can have gratitude in our hearts for where God has brought us from ... thank you Lord for Immanuel, God With Us.

Can you imagine what effect it would have in our communities if everyone in every church, rowed together (32:25) in unity and selflessly towards the same destination? It would be like a tsunami of God's power, grace and love moving across the earth.

God is a lie my friend. God was invented by primitive humans to explain frightening events in nature like thunder and lightning. Presently, dishonest, desperate and deceptive people use "God" to elicit donations from poor and ignorant people much like this video is doing.

I just don't get it? Easter is a pagan festival and good Friday is a false memorial day. It is NOT the day Jesus Christ died on the cross. It's all there in the Holy Bible, how can a pastor/preacher miss it?

Why is it that a lot of those who preach from the pulpit exclude themselves when giving challenges or instructions, and target the congregation? It comes across that they are superior and have got it "altogether" and are better than those in the congregation who need to "shape up" because they are less than acceptable. Instead of saying "you", they should include themselves by saying "we". "For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Rom 3:23). An example of superiority in this video: 26.07 to 27.04.

It would be good some time to have teaching on how to live the resurrected life.
