Jesus Christ. I see what your issue is. Pull your lizard out of your sisters ass for a minuet and clean your equipment. How can you run around with filthy gear like that then be bewildered when things don't function correctly, for fucks sake.
@BumpNrun69Ай бұрын
Isn't the "waterline" created from the boat sitting (not moving) for long periods of time? What I got from your video is, leveling the transducer parallel to the water when you're on plane? I'm also going to try that. Currently, the dealer set it up to be inline with the bottom of the boat and a little below the water line, which is how Hummingbird mentions in their installation manual. But when on plane, I either lose my Depth reading & Sonor Graph or my depth readings go way out of whack by 100ft plus. I tihnk you gave me a good idea to overcome this, I'm going to try it and see. It's just so frustrating to purchase a piece of electronics, nearly 4 thousand dollars, and it can't even function as needed.

thanks for the video. those carbs are noted for gumming when they set for awhile. I always add marvel mystery oil to my fuel and it keeps them clean.....cheaper than sea foam.

That’s true what one said about the gray line and I have own 8 two strokes and 3 4 strokes every year I get rid of the old gas and put in new a I use a good two stroke oil for what ever motor you have and I put seafoam in the gas tank and change fuel filter in them and they never let me down

After using bleach product, make shure you use diluted hydrogen peroxide. A ratio of 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide to 10 parts water is effective for neutralizing bleach.

Bought a 2002 pontoon with a mercury tracker 40 hp two stroke outboard. Water separator had black mold in it when we test run it mold went into carburetor how do I get it out without over hauling the carb. I changed the separator,gas lines and filter. Now it won’t start.

why talk so much extra? you could easily make this a 1- 2 minute video. why try so hard to waste peoples time?
@freshwaterfiend62682 ай бұрын
Several reasons. 1. YT won't push videos under 5 mins. 2. Not everyone is as smart as you, so they need a little extra explanation. 3. Because it's my video and if I can do or say whatever I want. Nobody is forced to watch. 4. The longer the video, the more $$$ you can make from ad revenue. 5. You making comments only pushes the video higher in the algorithm, then when i respond it gets pushed even higher. So thanks for the help

I just bought a Helix 7 to attach to my pontoon boat. My pontoon sits in a boat lift and the cradle that the logs rests on sticks out about a foot behind the logs. A transducer can only mount flush with my logs, not hang down below or the transducer hits the bunk when I drive back on. I haven't installed it yet, Will it work flush along the bottom of my toon?

You must be one of those rich guys that can buy those $140 carb rebuild kits? When you have 3 carbs that are in sync $320 worth of gaskets and a re-sync is a bit much when all I'm trying to do is spend my day off fishing. But you do you, and I'll do me.

Never use carb or brake cleaner to start a 2t. You're washing the cylinder walls down and greatly decreasing the life of rings an bearings. Get yourself a good quality spray bottle and use premix to squirt into the carbs.

Hey bud just a follow up from canada here. So I took out the 14ft fishing boat with a 25hp older 1986 mercury 2 stroke outboard . I fiddled with the screws and choke stuff ect before going on the trip and got to get it to start pretty good as I had previosly installed electric a starter ect ( cant pull on the cord to much anymore AGE you know what I mean )anyway up on the lake same kind of thing again, had to keep cranking with the starter to get it to fire up, when it did and got warmed up ,it ran like a bird, following day same thing lots of cranking then ran like a bird, its a 1986 but looks brand new Ive had it for 30yrs but hardly used it , now retired I use it more often, there cant be too much wrong with it as I mentioned it looks brand new, so I plan to try your method of cleaning with the gum out and sea foam hope it helps thanks for your time to share the info
