for these "normal" runs that are limited by adm points (in contrast to horde runs), I'd rather get golden age later when I'm coring more provinces. There's also a Eunuchs agenda that can extend golden age by 10 years which requires building T3 Nanjing tower twice which requires a ton of economy that I wouldn't have had in 50 years from this point. I haven't used that agenda in my run so far (late 1540s atm), but I'm considering it...

If you have a particular time stamp, I could try to explain. But my aerial movements are combinations of: 1) two flash jumps 2) an "upjump" (the backflip) 3) a fixed distance dash 4) blink (stops momentum when you tap it in air)

Setting a real world time limit while game speed isn't reliable is pretty bad imo. They should rather give in-game time limits. 1444-1470 or something.

sadly, just savescumming. Note that weights of certain traits are affected by some in-game factors though, but in the end, it's RNG that I had to bruteforce

I wasn't interested in watching the video, I don't like watching speedruns, but I thought "maybe I'll learn something for my gameplay" then I clicked. And the first fuckin thing I see is a guy saying "Some highlights of the run include becoming the Holy Roman Emperor and revoking the privilegia by 1456" I then I se he was the country Manchu and then one frame later e bitch was the Timurids and now I'm hyped.

How stable was your country before you formed the HRE and just had hundreds of HRE vassals everywhere? If you were not speedrunning the game would it make for a stable run to have just stayed that way and play "Tall"? Do you also have a save at that time (just out of curiosity).

Prince 1: yeah, sure why not. not like were gonna actually do what they say. lets just treat em like we treated austria. paying lipservice to their title and getting on with the party Prince 2: now hold on a minute. they said that 5 years ago they added every single russian province to a trade company for exactly one day, which somehow ruined their economy for the last 5 years. they were also really insistent on joining the HRE. they sent me like 50 letters announcing that. one each day, crazy stuff! Prince 1: okay, now that changes the whole political dynamic here. it seems we owe them our unquestioning loyalty forever and ever now. lets go mobilize our entire male population to join them in there conquest of *checks notes* france, persia and the ottoman empire Prince 2: okay, so thats gonna occupy us for at least 50 years right? Prince 1: ehm nope. apparently the emperor expects the war to be won within the week so we can go on to conquer england, india and china.

I'm not aware of it, and I don't think it really does anything. You can unify Japan as anyone fairly quickly (as demonstrated here), and starting as a stronger nation doesn't make it that much faster (unless you're going for shogun rush)

Poor AIs love mothballing their capital forts. As long as you don't let them activate the fort (i.e. you already have troops on their fort), it'll remain mothballed, so it'll count as a level 1 fort. If you even give them a day, it'll activate their fort, so it'll require 9 regiments despite having 1k garrison

This must have been before they added a peace deal for natives to fully annex them. No chasing them around anymore, just a treaty for "annex migratory tribe". Wonder how much faster you could have made this run with that ability.

Thank you. I really hate when colonies form. I want the whole effing world to me. I'm playing with some mods. Fun with Ducats and Extended Timeline are some of them, and thanks to you I'm playing as Icenia and managed to move my Capital to America before 400 AD. Now I can conquer the world. Boudica is proud.
