I can’t see why so many TF complete about transformers designs whipty do Michael bay try to do G1 the main reason why he didn’t was because of bad CGI and movie graphics for cartoon characters in the real world wasn’t good enough back then it just makes me laugh so many TF fans don’t even know that there are many different transformers timelines and all of them have different designs 🤷 so what’s the difference

how many do you have? I am in southeast Asia, I have Rodimus, nemesis, bumblebee and soundwave. I can't find Optimus, Megatron or Starscream anywhere. For reference I am in Thailand. I am in a few Facebook groups and have checked in with the XM supplier for Thailand (already sold out). I would love to get these for a reasonable price. I am loving this line and will pre order arcee and prowl. If anyone has any info please give me a heads up. this megatron is by far my favorite.

nice statue but they mess up the scale...they compare em with the other villain stats.. he's taller than Mr Freeze, scale is way off, he's like Lurch in Adams Family..

@@chrissanagustin1395 He’s a little tall I suppose, yes. P1 always over sizes their quarter scale. Probably won’t be an issue for the dio but if you’re trying to mix it in with other manufacturers, it could look off. I see your point. Thanks.

I like the switch out with him holding the cowl because it tells a better story as a stand alone piece. Without the cowl, if you displayed him alone, the general public would have difficulty identifying him as Alfred. I always respected Alfred. After so many years, many would start becoming too familiar at their workplace and boss. They would start wearing jeans and sh** to work. Alfred tends to keep It professional and wear the uniform or something close to it. He doesn’t show up to the gig in biker shorts or anything.

You had a US based company provide an engineering consultation with you on your build and this is the example of why Moducase isn't really that expensive? Literally just put in my order for extruded aluminum, acrylic, fastners, LEDs with home assistant integration, etc... equivalent to the Sixth model on Moducase, except actually modular (not just the inner shelving) for a bit over $600 less. Yeah, you can do it cheaper, but you actually have to be the one to do it. It's one thing to just say: I do not want another DIY project, I'm just going to buy the Moducase. That is a legitimate answer that cannot be wrong, if it is the right one for you. But to do what you did and call it DIY is totally disingenuous.

@@LackofFaithify You’re completely out of context. Do we really need a “can you DIY cheaper than Moducase?” 😂. No shit DIY is ALWAYS cheaper than doing yourself. The point of this video was to test the discussion in the community at the time which was that Moducase was all industry standard “off the shelf” parts and you can buy it from any extruded aluminum supplier. As this video showed, that’s about 90% true with a few unique components only. And this is not custom “engineered”, I gave them all the specs and quoted a kit. There’s no engineering up charge. The simple point is 1. Moducase doesn’t seem priced so bad as people complained back then and 2. Moducase brings a few unique components. But also as I said, it was one supplier - one datapoint. If you actually watch the entire video, the context of the discussion is pretty clear. We are not talking full DIY. And with the long benefit of hindsight since the video was published, we can say the market has proved it out. There have been a few collectible display case entrants since this video but they are shooting even more premium and Moducase has grown and expanded its portfolio. Besides what the hell motivation would I have to be disingenuous? Moducase isn’t paying me.

@@BaneHardy94 Hi. Not sure exactly but I’d expect any Moducase shelf would hold them easily. They aren’t that heavy. Moducase publishes those specs on their site as well if you need the exact maximum for the shelf.

did your rack come like that with the front bracket holes covered? one thing you could do to make it cleaner is install pvc foam boards through the inside of the rack. It'll cover the holes and blend in the metal bars. Those bars in plain sight is such an eyesore no offense. I just feel like it takes away from the statues and those are nice pieces. The glory is not at its full potential. Go the extra mile & put acrylic and foam boards you won't regret it.

@@DonPeppinoo I generally display in Moducase. I don’t do these custom display rack things. This is just meant to be a best bang for the buck “garage rack” video. Not a best display option video. For a nice display I’ll do Moducase. But I’ve had a couple these racks in my collection while things are sorted out given Moducase has a good 1 year lead time

@@Dan14thPrime i know i only have 3 - DF120. That took 16 months to get here. Comparing moducase to these is not fair. We (the community) are trying to replicate moducase. Of course moducase is the best. I could fit busts in the garage rack that i couldn't in the DF120. The uality is there. & Honestly from a short distance when done right, they look the same. Just the boarding is thicker. If someone was to view them and not know about moducase they will think they are 2 of the same cases. My whole point is simply saying your case will look totally different & 100x better just from those 2 simple adjustments. If you want the '''best garage display''. You could actually skip the acrylic. But the backboards i couldn't stress enough how good they are. Those statues deserve better lol & ignorance is bliss

Lol not liking Secret Compass huh. He does take a bit longer to get in Prime 1 pieces. My last 2 were 1/2 captain America and 1/2 Witch king. Never had any problems with them unlike other companies. Have the 1/3 Neytiri and PCS Howling on order from them . Great collection going there. Wish I could spare money get those cases. You mentioned sale on Cyborg Supes. Yeah finally getting it and after few points $865 shipped. Can't wait.

@@johnsalas9743 Yeah seems their P1 distribution is a year behind everyone else’s. And shipping crazy - just under $700 to ship that Predator - cheapest method they offered. Any Joe Blow with a Pirate Shipping account can do it for half that.

@Dan14thPrime Ouch lol yeah that's bit much . Paid like $560 from Sideshow. He has let me switch a preoder over to something else in stock couple times. So that helped when it was taking too long as they were both prime 1 pieces. Instead of basically telling me to F- off and keep my deposit if I no longer wanted. So why I prefer.

One of the best reviews I've seen, mate. Extremely in-depth and narrated brilliantly. 💯👌It's a decent set, although I think a few of the parts, eg. the colourful side-pouches, yellow gauntlet and those daft horns/ears on the helmet tend to give it a more toy-like appearance. I think just getting both the ESB and ROTJ versions is the best route to take, as the differences, IMO, really do warrant purchasing both figures. Overall, I slightly prefer the ESB version, but I do love the ROTJ one, especially that blaster!

Can I get your opinion on how important the washers are ? I built three of these without the washers cuz I missed that part in the video … been holding sturdy so far in the 3 months installed…

I think you need them. The aluminum is fragile. The washers distribute the force so the aluminum doesn’t tear or bend.
