Am I wrong when I ask the pastor of a church why they didn't teach the hold bible?

I was raised in a Foursquare Pentecostal church. ( I hope my friends from that church don't see this ) and we were taught that you can only go to heaven if your saved and baptized. I don't believe that anymore. I am still torn about that church. Back in 1976 Hollywood came out with a movie called The Disappearance Of Amy with Faye Dunaway playing Amy. Our Pastor told us not to Watch it. I watched years later. I formed my own thoughts of the movie and I think she could have faked her kidnapping. She was a flawed person like all of us. She's human. So she could have done this. Also she would put on pageants in her church. I heard she always wanted to be an actress. So she probably wanted to be noticed Sorry this is long but this has been bothering me for years. I would love to have a one on one talk with Pastor Hibbs. There was a prophecy given to me back in the 1970’s in our church. That prophecy said I would bring a friend to church and that friend would become a Christian and I would be the happiest person in church. That prophecy never came true. So that means the guy who spoke that to me was a false prophet. So as you can see I'm torn about that church. Need help.

I believe in deliverance. I believe that there are Christians that have had such abuse in their lives and they hide it. They smile and pretend they are OK. They continue to make wrong choices and may even murder or suicide. Seen it. They are oppressed to the point of feeling like they are pocessed. They need to be delivered of strongholds. Bring forgiveness into those areas that have been opened to evil.

The Lord actually spoke to me on Maui, while walking to Church at Makawa Maui. It was during the Jesus Movement. He said the gifts are like fertilizer. They help to encourage and meet a need, but the important thing is to bear the Fruit of the Spirit. Love, Joy, Peace, long suffering, gentleness, self control. That's what will last, all those other things will pass away!!! Seek the fruit of God's Spirit in your life... Stay in the Word and God will give us what we need. MARANATHA Walter

I love that you Mario and others are Pentecostal and not crazy. Winning souls and representing in holiness will keep us from craziness. So glad you posted this blog. The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ has been replaced by seeking Holy Spirit experience. It seems to me that most of this ‘experience’ is not the Holy Spirit but something else. Anybody not on this bandwagon is now the odd one out.
