3 more things that apply to more than just jungle: inefficient farming/use of time. I've seen people who have lane pressure in mid just awkwardly stare at the opponent when harpies are up when outfarming someone is probably the easiest way to win games and we've all been in a game when we win a team fight, kill 3 and everyone just wanders back to lanes instead of doing objectives. Not thinking about what other people will do in a fight and just unga bunga pressing abilities. Trying to cerb ult a loki who has his 3 for example Not paying attention to power spikes whether it's your own or your opponents. If you have a full item and your opponent only has tier 2 or vice versa, that fight will be very one sided. I see this most in solo when people don't pay attention and end up losing because they fought and unwinnable fight

These are all the this I definitely need to work on especially the rotation and positioning. But question. Would you say the mid laner in the mid part of the game is like a secondary jungler when they’re well fed?

Definitely. Being able to make good rotations mid game as a mid laner is a great help to your team, and one of the benefits of faming well early game. Probably why Mid lane is my 2nd favourite role, its kinda like jungle :)

Mid is easy as hell for me, but every time I queue I almost never get to be mid, it’s always support or jungle which are more complex 🥲

Problem for me is that I physically can’t farm in some games cause of how duo lane always needs the two camps mid takes the treasure solo sometimes takes the tiki camps and blue buff and I’m just stuck with like three

Yea unfortunately in Australia the player pool is very small, so most games aren't that serious / high quality. Hopefully SMITE 2 will help

I love playing jungle. The only catch is that your team suddenly expects you to be everywhere on the map at the same time, and if you didnt gank their line in the last 5 minutes they start flamming you

I really want to emphasize point 3 a bit more. In my experience as a jungler, the best advice I can give to people is to make a decision and COMMIT to it. You need to be proactive and get things done at every stage of the game, and the only way anyone can do that is to decide what's best and follow through with it. If it ended up being a bad decision, that's fine. Learn from it and try not to make more bad decisions going forward. But in every single situation, no exceptions, it's better to follow through on a bad decision that you can learn from and to follow through on good decisions that can lead to victory, than it is to never decide on something and never decide to follow through with the choices you do want to make. Even if the choices are strings of very small decisions through the game, they will be impactful if you are intentional.

Have you ever tried aiming on controller AND PC? Have you ever tried aiming while instant casting on controller? That means you’ve tried playing claw. Have you ever tried to play claw? Do you know what ping and refresh rates are?

I agree with the video, but its a fact that mid lane itself is a hostile lane as you have to play against your match up + jungle + support in a akward trilane a lot of time, the map really need some early attractive point in other routes because its suffocating a lot of times

Fingers crossed Mid mains see this; too many times I’ve been getting BMed from 45 seconds in by a mid laner who goes 2/8 and tries to 1v5 every fight, while I go 4/0 in solo

I was introduced by my friends and my first game I was put on cerberus and told to buy gauntlet of thebes. After many years and several chests opened, I came back around to the guy with a voicepack and cool skin, and he's been fun. As a duo main I'm happy to count him among my favs, even if he isn't diamond, and one day I'll get pup patrol

Very nice that you're displaying yourself making these mistakes, since even good players who know this don't do everything right, and not everyone realizes that. In particular, I have much improved on positioning from the past, but I definitely would have made that mistake and should consider large-scale positioning.

Mid laners in smite definitely need to have more videos like this. They always seem to be the person on the team most likely to afk, be toxic, or blame others as soon as they start playing poorly. I rarely see them ward, will sit on enemy tower until they get killed, and fail to ever rotate well and make good missing calls. Its such a noob friendly class yet it seems like all the noobs playing it cant seem to get out of that tier lol

The other day I had a mid lane Siva miss an enemy rotation callout (no big deal, it happens). But then curse out my Support when he didn't rotate the instant that the enemy's did. Then proceeded to follow Support from minute 5 jumping around next to him for the next 35 minutes.

The over all winrate in smite is 50% including everyone, I don't get why people think it's not when there's a winner and looser to every game.

The issue is because of their faulty af matchmaking. When you get above 50% win rate, they throw poor skill players on your team and better skill players against you as often as they can until you equal down to 50%. I have around a 60% win loss and it is a painful experience playing this game without my group. I'm in no way a top percent player but they will throw masters and gm rank players in my lobby while I get gold and plat allies. I've literally been handed a poseidon who's account had a win loss of like 5-67 against a full trio in ranked joust at plat tier. That being said, mid laners are the weakest willed. They're always the first to break and afk/surrender/flame their team. They need videos like this to learn instead of blaming someone else

@@slaayerr1 I know the feeling g dodgy matchmaking usually the worst person is the one flaming others, this holidays I have litrally nothing but losses through no fault of my own wich seems really unfair and is making me want to leave the game and start playing something else on the weekends, I have gone from 62% Winrate down to 48% now just seems pointless to play knowing you can't do anything about how your team play.

I like to remind myself that the only person you can change what they do is yourself. Don't stress over losing games due to teammates, but also focus on how you could have played better, even if you played 10x better than your teammates for that particular game.
