Thank you for sharing they all are amazing colors. I had a dream angels were flying in and out my bedroom window. One of them took my left hand and rubbed a jasper stone on it. I never seen the color. I woke up. I been searching meaning.

These are polished jasper pieces. When raw the colors will be more muted.

Easy version - optical calcite is HIGHLY birefringent, so if you put a piece of it on a printed page the letters will appear to be doubled, and if you rotate the calcite, the double letters will rotate around each other. This cannot happen with quartz. The beam from a laser pointer will also be split in two on its passage through the optical calcite. be careful not to view stray reflections of the beam. If you have a UV flashlight, shine it on a sample. Calcite of any kind will almost always fluoresce and often phosphoresce for a second or two after the light is switched off, but quartz of only a few kinds like agate does, and then only rarely. Calcite will always be scratched by the much harder quartz.

2:32 "I don't know what you call 'em, eye designs, circular patterns"... Answer: Orbicular Patterns (more common in Agates than Jaspers though & there is a mineral group of Jasper Agates which include Ocean Jasper Agates & Agates always have Orbicular patterns beneath the surface, it just depends sometimes if the carver is good enough to polish them down to bring these patterns to the surface & even expose caverns of druse covered orbicular honeycomb clusters) Here, they haven't done a great job.

I find stuff with orbital things in it but i'm definitely not in Madagascar. I also find stuff with lines going through it similar to picasso stones, but my understanding is picasso stones are soft and can be scratched with a knife, where mine cannot be. Some are black with brown and white streaks through them. I find them throughout the cascade range.

To make sure they are real, I usually pay attention to not just the appearance but the sounds jasper crystals make against each other. I shake them in my hand like dice, and they should create the sound hers made in the video. After testing it for a sound I check the crystals, there shouldn't be any scratches on the jasper crystals, just the same clean polished look as before.

I would love to know what they usually sell for because I'm scared to get ripped off. 😕 Even a typical red jasper. I have a bracelet that's full of them, big chunks but don't know if I overpaid?
