Very cool. I have a question though. Are the movements usually this close to the body? Why would you not extend the arm to get more range? Thank you for sharing.
@l34nkcrup Жыл бұрын
its just a drill to use a whole upperbody to genarate power when cut, it more powerful than cutting with your arm but when sparring most ofall time i extend my arm to maximum reach for range advantage
It kinda reminds me of this for some reason: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGm0pZJvhNWaj9k Love it!

Amazing! The beginning reminded me of a hangarian style cutting sequence and some parts also makes me think of polish cross cutting. Very cool kzbin.info/www/bejne/pme2hJ2kZZxroq8 kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGm0pZJvhNWaj9k

this drill goal is about "dont hit a wall"
@bdjcasar8357 Жыл бұрын
Yep, the whole point of that drill is to teach the swordsman to use the full extent of the edge to make the most effective cut, not hit the wall.

Excellent speed. Are you sure about the straight arm when cutting with shamshir?
@l34nkcrup2 жыл бұрын
in a sparring "no" , but it possible depend on an opponent weapon& their combat style but most of the time when i sparring my move will be something like 0:40 - 1:04
