We were on the 20th floor, room 2003. When we were picking the room from the floor plan on their site they have wide rooms and long skinny rooms and it was one of the wide rooms. It was right next to the elevator. We really liked it’s location.

Wife and I were there on the 6th and 7th. Friday was cold and the Christkindl market was PACKED! Saturday was much warmer. We stayed at the Radisson Aqua Blu on Columbus Dr. Chicago is such a vibe!

I usually go on a weekday early in the season to avoid the crowds, I just wasn’t able to make it work this year. It definitely helped to do the culture tour they offered on the weekend in order to beat the crowds and have a table in one of the heated beer halls.

I just got back from a solo trip myself. I did charbroiled at both Dragos and ACME. Dragos won hands down. Also Morning Call has better beignets than Cafe DuMonde, imo.

@@seminolejon I didn’t try the beignets at Morning Call, I’m going to have to try them next time! Knowing me, I’ll get the chargrilled oysters at both Acme and Dragos again next time, but Dragos does add some seasoning to their butter which definitely makes them better!

There is so much great live music everywhere in New Orleans! And I could never show up back home after vacation without at least one gift stashed in my suitcase for Gumbo. It’s the only reason she will let me leave her!

Thanks for watching! Our favorite thing about Deer Creek Cabin was how much space and privacy there was for the dogs! We have a video showing our time there coming out on Sunday. We only visited Jackson for one day, so we are definitely not experts, but we would go back to Persephone Bakery and Snake River Brewing. If we had more time we would have tried Teton Thai, Cowboy Coffee, and either Pinky G’s Pizzeria or Hand Fire Pizza which was in an old repurposed movie theater. Hi Jamie! I’d love to take my dogs on a trip but they’re not very well behaved. Even dual walks end up being somewhat fun for them and stressful for me. 😅 Irma might like a few days at camp and you guys could chill with the less energetic dogs. It’s a win for everyone! 🩷 I know you love her but I can absolutely relate to the “Jesus Christ (fill in name of dog)”. 😂

It can be stressful walking my crazy crew! I always have to tell Irma to hide her crazy. We definitely considered taking Irma to camp for our trip, but she loves traveling in the van so much that sometimes we just have to decide to embrace her crazy instead of being embarrassed by it! 😆

Donuts have always been serious business to Gumbo; she does what it takes to get them. My favorite is when she gives us ‘chin luvin’ and rests her chin on us (putting all her weight into it so we won’t miss it), while giving puppy eyes!
