Yea I got lasik after halos and glare smh but halos got better at night I can drive at night but the bright lights still bother me. The eye doctor seem to think everything thing is ok it’s very confusing

PRK both eyes. 22 years later I regret the worse irreversible damage I did to my eyes. Very very poor night vision and severe eye dryness. Nothing seems to help. Can't drive at night and low light spaces scare me.

I hate these lenses, cause endless frustration and pain. The hassle just out weighs the benefit for me. Most days I just end up spending 45 minutes attempting to 5 them in, before giving up and wearing glasses.

I saw Dr. G a few years ago and the lenses did really nothing to improve most of my symptoms at all. I have about a dozen different vision issues. I have the issues you have but they are the least bothersome of my issues. If those are the only issues you have then consider yourself super lucky.

I have keratotomy’s, I was diagnosed with blepharitis than astigmatism , ive hade a corneal transplant in one eye, it has been months since the transplant, in my left eye, my vision is still pretty blurry in both eyes, it has been like this now for 6-7yrs, I wish I could see clearly again, I don’t like travelling, if there’s any help I can get in England uk, please do let me know, I heard about scleral lenses but haven’t tried them yet

I too am 45 and was diagnosed with kt about 20 some odd years ago. I've been using scleral lenses for the past 10 years and good lord have they made a difference in my life. My left eye was brought to 20/20 and my right to 20/40. Super crisp, sharp, comfortable excellent vision for a constant 12-14 hrs straight. I am a professional driver and definitly would not be doing what I love if not for sclerals. They do come with a caviat though; you have to find an optomologist that specializes and doesn't "give up" on you until the detailed fitting is precise. Also, proper insertion/removal is paramount to success with them. It takes a while to get it just right. And finally extreme cleanliness and hygene when handling, cleaning and storing them is crucial. Hope this helps folks...they are heaven sent.

I have done TEST as on 28th May, 2022. My day far vision in right eye and left eye is changing from last 6 months. Sometimes right is good. Sometimes left is good. In the night time, far vision is still worst or ok ok in both the eyes.

I had lasik a month ago No problems so far Mild halos But i had no idea about its risks Nor side effects My doctor only said dry eyes and in 10 years there's a small chance your Vision won't be as sharp as gets after lasik Now I should've done my research because if I knew about those complications people are facing I wouldn't have done it I would've kept my glasses but thank God I'm doing well I'm using my lubricant eye drops religiously And If my vision decreases with time 1000% im not going to get another lasik I'll stick to glasses To anyone considering lasik Please do your research consult with 3 doctors at least make sure you're a candidate Then make the decision Personally if I knew about the risks I wouldn't have had it and I would've stick to my good old brown glasses To anyone facing lasik complications I'm sorry and I hope you get better But do not get another lasik It will get worst

A tip for everyone that just bought the lenses. Something that helped me a lot to put it on was to push it slowly, firmly grabbing my eyelids. Let your eye get more wet every time while you push it until you push all the way to your eye. With practice you’re gonna do this faster and faster every time. Patience! At the beginning it was veeeery frustrating, I would even cry because I couldn’t put them on but I did that and it helped me a lot

I had Lasik about a year ago, and while my day vision is great, my night vision is very affected by halos and starbursts (not as bad as he described in this video but night driving is very uncomfortable). If you have large pupils, think twice before having Lasik. Overall I don't regret it, I hardly ever need to drive at night.
