I'll add about Nkunku - I looked at all his goals for Leipzig and counted 25 that he scored from the penalty area, being the center forward in the episode - he scored from through ball passes, crosses (high and low) and cutbacks. And there is many one-touch goals. Christopher is a much more reliable investment of time and effort by the team and coaches than Jackson if they want a good center forward.
@jt19933
@jt19933 2 күн бұрын
Incorrect! Nkunku will have to show what he is in the box as a Premier League striker but the truth is that Jackson’s overall play is absolutely better and it elevates the team. That’s why he is chosen in front of Nkunku as a striker. His finishing leaves a lot to be desired but he legitimately connects the team and allows them to play well.

@@jt19933 at Leipzig, Nkunku linked the team's play perfectly and that's one of the things that made him one of the best forwards. All he needs at Chelsea is time on the pitch.

Jackson is fantastically bad at shooting on goal, he hasn't even mastered the chip, and his left foot is the stuff of dark legends. His overall skills as a center forward (positioning, ball control under pressure, etc) are poor - after all, he's a winger without a proper school. Chelsea wanted to sign Osimhen for a reason. And you're saying Jackson is more of a center-forward than Nkunku, who played 2000 minutes at Leipzig in the center of attack? (not always a solo 9, but at least he scored a lot of goals from areas deep in the box) Come on.

Any talk of a lack of leaders just seems ridiculous to me. Leaders are becoming. The club has a right to expect them to show up in the current team. Colwill, Nkunku, Caicedo (Ecuador captain), Fernandez (vice captain), James, Disasi (Monaco captain) and others. I don't think Chelsea are in dire need of that right now. Other problems are paramount and when they are solved, enough time will pass for leaders to emerge on their own, it's a natural process.

Viega, he is still a moments player. You see a great tackle, great pass, great positioning etc. then you see a missed tackle, missed pass, wrong positioning etc. every player is good, but constancy is obviously what you strive for with a young team, and what allows amazing to be great. What allows no trophy to many trophies.

Levi can become captain in the future but should not be captain yet. He was out of the team at the back end of last season when Caicedo really stepped up. In future yes but now absolutely not. He needs to focus on football because his game is still far from perfect.

@@benhardacre588No! You somehow forgot he was paired with Badiashile on both occasions who makes everyone look bad. Disasi was at RB in the second leg to compound things making things even worse. @@doubleeph8920 at the end of the day there’s not that much between them. Some would take Fofana, some the Fulham reject on a free transfer. Neither is the second coming of Ricardo Carvalho. Neither is the answer actually if we want to get back to challenging for PL & CL trophies.

Can Todd buy Clearlake? I think he also own a small part of Clearlake. Also I think the Newcastle group, (PFI/PFU*?) owns 30% of Clearlake. So if Todd have 15 to 20 % of the Company. Isn't it better to invest or buy Clearlake Group then Chelsea' s B. E.?

Tbh if there’s a big Chelsea fan revolt, I can see it driving Clearlake out considering they’ll just think of it as a nuisance and they’re so focused on good PR, so it’ll ruin them, especially if it gets to the point where the revolt is mainstream, at least in sporting terms. They know they won’t have a chance at buying another club or another sports team in general if this thing gets out of hand, cause for the most part, they are the villains here. Todd is VERY naive, at least when he first came in that is, but you can see he at least wants the best for the club sportingly, and financially. He thinks of this as a proper investment emotionally, whilst eghbali and co think of it as a money scheme that they can pull off then shamelessly sell it 8-9 years down the line. For me, I would’ve loved if we could go back in time and get that candy fella in who was a proper chels fan, but hindsight is always 20/20. If we have to choose 1 out of the 2 sides, then it HAS to be Todd. He knows people, so buying out their investment and stake in the club isn’t a big risk. I just hope Chelsea fans actually do what they gotta do and help in terms of making it a big deal. Todd ain’t perfect but he genuinely cares

Remember this Roman was one special owner. Now, the longer fake Chelsea social media influencers keep supporting these American clowns, the more they will bring down the standards and turn Chelsea into a feeder club. Bringing down the wage structure is a sign of operating at a low cost to ensure these owners get their retirement package. You cannot compete with Real Madrid and Man City without signing players who earn high salaries. Using social media to push this agenda that Chelsea needs to be like an American sports team is rubbish. Historically, only Leicester won the EPL with a low-wage structure. This was a miracle that happened only once. Vince, Jimmy, and Joey are clowns in the CLOWNLAKE agenda.

If we want to phrase it:Eghbali represents a big part of the shares. If the minority cant strike a deal to buy the majority then usualy they retreat and sell their own shares. Also Todd didnt had his own funds to buy Chelsea without Clearlake back then. And it seems he needs to find new investors to buy out Clearlake. And i doubt when we talk about billion figures they let go any form of influence over the club.

@intermediate212
@intermediate212 12 күн бұрын
@nicolemonkeviciene791 as someone who works in management consulting and vendor procurement, I promise you that is not the case 😂. You dont "know" what is going to happen. You "plan" for what you want to have happen, but there is something called risk. You have a strategy, and then there's risk involved. The action they took was putting money into a youthful recruitment strategy. The risk stemming from this was that the recruitment strategy may not work out. It's not uncommon for negative risks to occur during contracts/partnerships. When they do, changes must be made to keep the project on track, or else it's a failure. The biggest issue here is what Boehly wants to change vs. what Clearlake wants to change. Judging by the aqusitions of KDH, Felix, and Neto, it seems like Clearlake made a few adjustments to their strategy, but it looks like Boehly has other ways he wants to adjust their initial plans. Heck, the recruitment strategy may not have been grounded out until 3-4 months into the new ownership. I don't think Abramovich would have signed off on "hey, we're gonna buy 30 inexperienced players under the age of 25 and flip them for profit and sell off our academy players" .

Eghbali just said no and rejected the opportunity to bring in one of the top 5 strikers in world football because he refused to pay a superstar wages exceeding 150k. In fact, he lowballed Osimhen with a 70k/week offer of guaranteed wages which is insulting to Osimhen and comical to everyone else. This pay structure is simply not practical to maintain if winning a league is the ambition. Palmer will inevitably push for a way out as there's just no way he'll want to stay on 130k/week on a chaotic club with clowns running the circus. No top player will pick up a phone call if they're being insulted with clown offers, which seem to be happening more than people realize - just reference Muhammad Kudus' agent revealing what Chelsea were doing last summer, throwing ridiculous bids at clubs that they knew would never be accepted for players. Kudus' included. Clownlake are an utter embarrassment of an ownership. Bought the wrong team to play Brighton Redbull model.
