Jeff and Eddy have answered every question I had and taught me many things that I thought I knew with out making me feel arrogant. They take pride in their instruments and they want me to go away and sell Show Pro Steel Guitars like I worked there. The one they made for me (Blondie) comes close to a FRANKLIN in quality. It doesn't even rattle. When it starts to rattle, a little oil in the right place makes it go away. This machine makes me sound better than I am.

Hi All! I happened to see this little section today (4/15/2019). What a beautiful Pedal Steel Jeff and his crew at Show-Pro built for me. I have been playing it for a number of years now. I feel "special" every time I play it. They couldn't build them like this when I started building my career and reputation. I'm very lucky in that I was never limited by the quality of my equipment (played Sho-Bud) but, Jeff Sturatt has taken advantage of the modern tools and techniques along the guidance provided by the talented players in and around Nashville now and produced an instrument that will take you as far as you want to go. It only depends on how much you are willing to practice. I saw Robbie Turner backing up Chris Stapleton on the Tonight Show. I quick turned on my VCR and recorded the segment. I later determined that Robbie was playing a Show Prow Pedal Steel. I found Show Pro on line the next day and sent Jeff an email asking if I could talk to him about building a Pedal Steel for me. That was the start of a great friendship that we have kept up until this day. It took Jeff almost a year to build my instrument (Blondie). I bugged Jeff every couple of weeks and he posted photos on Face Book. Trust me.......it was worth the wait! You can't go to a Guitar Center and play a Pedal Steel. There are not enough around to fill up the stores. Only a select few stores. Most marketing for Pedal Steels is over the internet. I did not see Blondie in person until I opened the box at my house. I was not disappointed in any way! Thank You Jeff!

@@Steelybird I've had my Show Pro for nearly 5 years now too. As seen on this channel. Every time I take it to a rehearsal with a new band everybody surrounds it in awe when I set up. Pedal steels are very rare over the pond anyway but beautiful lacquer ones are even rarer. Owning a Show Pro is definitely an honour. The tone was great when I first got it but over the last couple of years the tone has matured into something very special. My lead time wasn't too long (back then). But I teased myself not opening when it arrived...I had to wait another 6 months until my birthday.
