Life , specially when you are young and healthy is about to overcome your fears , to do new things , to experiment with your body , to know your capacity ,have you ever gone to a pool or a beach and tried for example what was your limit holding your breath under water ? , have you ever choosen a long walk instead of getting a bus or the car ? just to try and see how long it takes to your legs to take you there or just go to a mountain and be part of it ? Let some crazy thoughts help you to discover things about you . If u never had this type of curiosity about trying new things , you are missing a big part of who you really are , and you will regret it when u're old. I'm 60 , disabled bc chronic disease and I give thanks to God for allow me to experience love and life and try myself in my best days, I ran , I swim , I walk , I play sports as a part of a team, I climb and jump rappelling from a cliff, I've been marching under the moonlight in the jungle, threatened by noises that I couldn't identify, suddenly the red colour of the tropical vegetation turn into blue under the full-moon light and the green leaves looked like silver spoons depending on the angle of reflection, like a freaking acid trip and while I loved the whole experience, the fear of being lost was real for quite some time . Guys enjoy life while you can, squeeze it out like a lemon. There'll be no regrets at the end , trust me.

Offline edit? Never seen this one before. Does it come from the promo?
@Suttisan782 ай бұрын
@@millenium_bug it was an offline edit of meeting people is easy, in other words not a final cut of the film. My friend was working on the film at the time, she knew I liked radiohead so gave me the tape. I will try and capture and upload the full tape sometime in the future.
@millenium_bug2 ай бұрын
@@Suttisan78 That would be pretty neat. I just purchased a press promo copy a while ago to see if anything is different with it. I saw some press promos still have the burnt in timecode. I’m really devoted to this film and look forward to any future uploads that you make.

Where did you find this uncut version?
@billkozac79744 ай бұрын
Radiohead albums are stories about living in an altered state of consciousness told from a first person perspective. They're like audio movies. In No Surprises we see a person living in a state akin to having the back of your head smashed in but still fully lucid (see CUTW). Time has passed since CUTW and he's learned to deal with it as long as everything's very quiet and he can sit very still for the rest of his life. .

Think about it. The setup before filming this is extensive. They have to dry him and everything off, prep the water, and he has to mentally be there to sing, feel the emotion, and hold his breath while waiting for the cue, while being completely still since the film is sped up, and then he has to maintain that when the water escapes to bookend the song and video. Music video shoots don’t just take two hours either. No wonder his eye is twitching. I’d be incredibly stressed out too, but the payoff sure was amazing when they finally capture the lightning in a bottle. Gotta love creating art.

bro all these people acting like it wasnt HIM who wrote the song, AND the video script. its a VISUAL DEPICTION OF THE EMOTION the song carries. there's real depth to this song, thom didn't do this cause video had to get done. he did this so we understand from a visual perspective the words he wrote. creative people sometimes do crazy things so that normal people can grasp the overall theme of a piece. if you've got depression or any mental health issues i'm sure you're not the ones on these comments freaking out as if he's being forced to fake drown himself
