How did you remove the teasing when you wash your hair?

I made IT! Thank you Jillian, it looks awsome, I am so proud with the results. I live in Germany and the prices are insane. Now I can make unbelievable Balayage all by myself

Omg, I watched loads of professionals doing this. This was the most informative so far. Every single question in your brain that you would have encountered during doing it yourself. Did it once myself. It came out that it was not that terrible. I just needed to tone it, which i skipped. After several failures from "professionals " in a couple of towns, i decided to do it myself from now on and perfect my technique over time. You can always tone it a little darker to hide the mistakes, also modern products are good and they dont damage hair the way it did in the past.

I would not recommend balayage at home. You could easily melt your hair, because the speed is important when bleaching. A good hairdresser always when bleaching. Fine hair also burns more easily. The thicker and stronger the hair the better.

This looks better than my salon balayage that cost me $400 yesterday. I am pissed.

If you want an even balayage, start from underneath at the back.. If you start at the front or ontop of the head where the hair processes fastest.. you're mostly likely gonna fry your hair. 🥰

This is the funniest and most informative video ever! I love how 'unprofessional' you are, even right down to the glass of wine and getting drunk while doing it, LMAO! And then what a beautiful end result, this is EXACTLY what I want, cheap, easy, fun and a great result, what more could we ask?

Can i section it diagonally the way Brad mondo does, tease it and then apply lightner? Will that come out nicely like this too?

I would've liked to seen it without the curls. That gives a better representation of how the color lines worked. I don't use a curling iron, I wear mine straight. So even though the technique is shown, the end result doesn't do anything for me. Your hair is beautiful, not knocking that, just saying for us with straight hair, we don't get a honest look
Hello from Portugal! I found this video yesterday and today I will try it. Thank you for the tips! XoXo😄

Wtf I was not expecting that result. It was looking like a hot mess of tease. I may have to switch to this instead of all the weaving

😮 It looks beautiful, but teasing your hair is extremely damaging to your hair. It can actually strip the cuticle cells.

Thank you for posting this! I hate my dark hair, but am on a journey to get out of debt so I couldn't justify spending $250 to color my hair at a salon. I followed this video with products I already had and my hair turned out great!

Didn't you ever think that you can use the Wella toner bottles for measuring?!!!😂 You just fill one Wella bottle twice with developer for every bottle of toner. That's all! SIMPLE!!!! You made it too hard for yourself!😮😅

I only use a bit of the bottle each time and don’t like to waste. It takes me a few months to use a whole bottle.

Has anyone done this with brown hair?
@JillianPaige Жыл бұрын
I did it on my dark brunette friend once and it went great! I would recommend a toner because it will likely come out brassy but as long as you tone the brass to whatever shade works best for your hair, it should be a great result. Let me know if you try it!
