that wont just go away, and almost any issue with an engine that results in a sound will get faster as the engine revs faster, that wont tell you anything a diesel thumping a little as it runs all the time is fairly normal, if your used to gas engines that might seem a little strange, but if it ever makes a notable knocking sound of any kind like that, just shut the engine off until you have an idea of whats going on, what engine does this truck have?

Pop test the injectors. Sounds like ones hammering and not dealing Which dribbles fuel into the engine And when the engines workin hard this is like a blow torch and will melt a hole in the piston, Warp the tension out of the rings Or melt the valves. Only question is which one happens first but honestly they’re all happening simultaneously. Have your injectors test
