Lucifer here could almost be a protagonist. But what makes him the devil is his complete refusal to change or grow. He holds onto his grudges. He clings to his flaws like a point of pride. That’s what makes him evil.

I love the fact that team free will and their allies all decide to use Jack as a "hurt Lucifer" button. It's usually a really low but deserved blow.

Wow, seeing Dean so broken and vulnerable and saying out loud things that are so painful to say really shows his growth as a character. He’s grown from the person who wouldn’t admit to having feelings or admitting that he was wrong to becoming someone who could admit those things.
