Here 2021 this is amazing bro…seeing him so forgotten now is just sad. It is like he was never in the show. And Charlie is still alive, I will never be over his death. Nick saved me in a way and I really couldn’t live with him not in the show. He is my favorite character of any show. This showed his whole story and made every second count. Thank you

Good video dude. I like this moments, how you put it together and music nice too. One mistake about quality. Downloud 1080p series and every thing will be fine! Don't stop creating.

It's interesting that one of the most interesting characters introduced to Vikings after the death of Ragnar is what some people might consider a religious zealot. Hey, some times Christ comes not bearing peace but a sword...and if you want a show that reflects modern secular values, I highly recommend that you watch Modern Family or some Fortress America cop show instead. As for the rest of us...Deus Vult!

This is great. Ivar's greatest strength is that people are stupid enough to underestimate him. Survival of the fittest does not always mean the biggest and strongest win...some times, it's the ruthless little shit disturbers who end up on top!
@sarahgray4306 жыл бұрын
The thing you've got to remember about Ivar is that according to the Norse idea of morality, he's the most virtuous of Ragnar's sons. After all, he is fighting to avenge his murdered mother and take the crown back from a woman who has no legal claim to it. Unlike his brothers, he has not used any woman for sexual pleasure and then cast her aside, nor has he disgraced himself as his brother Sigurd did....and if he sometimes seems to lack empathy, it is because Norse society really did not teach empathy or consider it a virtue! In short, while Ivar is not the popular Wagnerian stereotype of a Viking, he is a drengir in the truest sense of the word!
@siddarth39556 жыл бұрын
Sarah Gray He didn't use women for sexual pleasure because he's shown as impotent and empathy was preached in their mythos, there are many stories of Odin forgiving or Thor feeling sorry for others. Ivar still is my favourite and I believe him to be better by modern world sense, he isn't a hypocrite, Bjorn although great warrior or person just abandoned his daughter, every one of the Vikings portrayed are either just savages or hypocrites except for Ivar the Boneless. He is what he is, for me being evil openly is better than being a hypocrite !
@sarahgray4306 жыл бұрын
Ivar may not be entirely impotent (it doesn't always work the first time anyway) and from what I've read of their literature (which is fairly extensive...I've chewed through the Icelandic sagas, the Elder and Younger Eddas, and I'm ordering a four-volume set of the Heimskriegla) the concept of empathy did not really play a role in Norse society until the Christian era. In fact, Odin generally comes across like a mean and rather untrustworthy old man and Thor as a hothead and a bully, and...well, a society's gods and heroes reflect the nature of the society that creates them!
@siddarth39556 жыл бұрын
Sarah Gray The series doesn't follow the sagas and no Odin doesn't come as bully, he hardly even interacts much with anyone ...
