Lovely little engine, and great review. I've always found that Dapol tend to be noisy unlike farish silky smooth motors. That said they can be forgiven as they still deliver on the detail front

I believe that, according to Dapol at least, it is the smallest rtr British n gauge loco available. I would assume that doesn't count any HOn3 stuff lol

Also, Jeremiah, and anyone else who is interested, some of the "bumpiness" I was experiencing was due to improperly laid track. Having relaid the track, it runs like a charm. Still a little faster out of the gate than I'd like, but not much to be done about that.

I'm planning on buying a *Dapol N gauge Terrier* in *KESR blue livery* with a couple of *SR Green Maunsell* coaches

Very cool! Thanks for the comment and the add! I can't wait to see the KESRs when they're released! I might have to pick one up. :) (Especially since I eventually want to dcc a terrier but it voids the warranty)
