This is a beautiful classic RB song! I don't feel the song necessarily means you feel the love ends. Sometimes in life we have a special person who although the relationship most likely will never be.. it's not a sad thing it just is... You will never ever not love this person. I got to see her live last night. I knew it would happen but as the first notes to this one softly engulfed us, I started to cry like a baby. This was a hit when I was 14 and all I could think of was, I don't want to grow up. I don't want to feel pain like the pain in her voice. Because of the emotion, class and tenderness in her voice, this is hands down one of the best ballads of the 70's. Excuse me while I go get a kleenex....
