Very glamorous train. Unlike the V Sets I use on the Blue Mountains Line! They are always dirty, smelly (especially toilets), and old, loud, and basically just need replacing!

I reckon they should of keep the g sets to be honest, I think their better than the h sets but of course not as good as the v sets but i reckon the get would of been good to runs to wyong and 4 car trip down to newcastle and back stopping at every station like the h sets does now

@TheDokaDoka forgot one thing, they have used the H set on the blue mountain and newcastle lines, but they only terminate at springwood and wyong due to the wide body stock that they have. So i think all the H's are more useful to the south coast

@bridou1000 The T sets will appear occasionally on the line, and once they get rid of the S set, they will be replaced by A sets

@TheDokaDoka I would say that H sets always appear the south coast line on weekends, but however on weekdays, they get a mixed of V and H sets.

@humehwy31 Have a look at mine..... I went to use the toilet on the south coast line..... and its was 5 times as worse as this video

the official title of the link is ECRL or Epping Chatswood Rail Link - I have worked S, K and H sets thru there and I believe the T sets also work the link as well, The H (OSCAR) sets were originally put on the line due to the complaints of the noise of the tunnel there has been additional work done to deaden the sound and this is why the other sets now work the link.

Well Doka this line now, ever since being integrated with the whole CityRail network, has been served by both Oscars and K sets (and S sets since October 2010) although 99% of the Oscars on this line, which used to serve this line before integration, have been replaced by K sets as well as S sets

@AndreDevecserii Although they were originally designed for intercity but they are now also used on some suburban lines, mainly in Northern Line, Eastern Subs and Illawarra. Toliets are locked when they run on suburban lines

Wth are Oscars running on such a short route? Its not fair, lines like Blue Mountain and the South Coast/Illawarra line have trains way older but the route is way longer! I don't get why people need toilets on the trains on such short routes. Propably just a 'gift' to this route for saying that it was delayed for years. The newest train is a tangara on Illawarra/Eastern Suburbs route. :(

First Capital Connect had a on-line hate champaign to get rid of them, First Great Western was nicknamed Worst Late Western, Connex was stripped of their franchise's (most of our rail network is private run) and the government run service East Coast is crap. Yet our rail fares cost a fortune. Some companies are great like c2c and Chiltern Railways but some are appalling here. We need double deck trains but our gauge clearance is too small.

I know CityRail dont have a good rep, but I wish they had OSCARS in London (UK) the overcrowing is horrible at peak times, yet our electrostars are great. Good vid
