I have to be honest, after watching this, if Dr. Pearlman ever relocated to my city or if I ever relocated to hers, I'd want her as my urologist. She sounds really open-minded.

Do you have any info on Testosterone cream in the 200 or 100mg/ml form? This is the direction I think I might go as the oral undecanoate doesnt get levels very high from my research. Looks like most patients get an average of like 490 ng/dl with the orals?

Sadly, a lot of hospital, non M. D. staff just do not care how you, as a patient, feel. They have been and are so over worked that they have become callous toward patients to protect their own mental health. Meanwhile, the music in the executive suite is "We're in the Money Now"
I love and am grateful for the passion and dedication you both have!

Very timely for me since I’m waiting for my Decipher Biopsy results at this moment…also seriously considering Proton Therapy vs surgery with the favorable risk discussed. Also had a couple hemorrhoid surgeries years ago.

Sexual assault masquerading as a “treatment.” Apparently, patient quality of life has no place in calculating “risk/return.” I do hope oncologists get justice for what they do to us.

Where is Dr Schaeffer located? How can he be contacted? Excellent discussion. So much information - how to apply it to individual decision making - quality and quantity - to treat or not - if so how. Blows my mind. Thank you.

This podcast was great. I had two years of recurrent complicated urinary tract infections before my urologist recommended vaginal estrogen, and my symptoms finally improved with fewer additional infections. The importance of adding estrogen needs to be emphasized to primary care providers so that women get treated earlier.

I'm so glad I found this podcast. Dr. Han is so well informed, trained by Ken Peters, but a gifted healer on her own. I really appreciate her gentleness with children, the time she takes to listen to her patients--and I love her sense of humor! Humor is a healer of pain. Also, she's right about the cocktails not working over time but that's because they're not done properly or frequently enough. C. Lowell Parsons in San Diego has packaged his Marcaine, Heparin, Solu-Cortef cocktail in kits that contain the syringe & catheter, etc. for the patient to self administer at home after training in the office. This has been a godsend and has put patients into remission for years at a time! The once a week schedule is a killer for the patient but they'd rather have 12 hours of pain relief once a week than none. All pain all the time leads to frustration and suicide in patients who are told it's not possible to calm their IC enough to resume normal life and sexuality, that the condition is permanent and incurable. It's just not true! I will subscribe and can't wait to catch up with past episodes!

I am on systemic estrogen gel which I rub on my arm every morning. I also take vaginally micronised progesterone before bed time because I don't tolerate it orally. Can I also have vaginal estrogen? Is it gonna interfere with progesteron? Thank you

So glad this is being talked about. This issue of horrific impact didn’t hit me until my late 60’s. Looking back I can recall early signs back into my late 50’s. No one told me. I had to learn through my own research. Having a consult for Fotona Smooth laser next week! Started IntraRosa and added in systemic Testosterone 2 months ago. Feeling hopeful after feeling broken for so long.
