Nothing but bad experiences with Pirelli Run Flats. I keep getting bubbles on them. Sure you can say pothole, but I never got bubbles on my previous tires. Im switching to Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4

@@MJ-yi4tz yeah I wouldn't do run flats again. I actually couldn't find the non run flats again expect for a high price. Not sure if they are phasing them out but gotta look into another brand soon. I'll give those a look.

@@uneverknw I actually had to do it again about 2 weeks ago. Hadn't done it since this video. Just a few palm tree seeds got in and would slow the flow of air and even stopped it fully. It's a quick, straightforward fix as long as you have the right wrench for the horizontal screw since it's difficult to access. I believe it was a 10mm wrench. Let me know if you have questions.

These made a huge difference in my explorer. If you can wait, just order them with some power stop rotors on rockauto. I think I paid 32 bucks for the front and under 28 for the rears. Rotors were 40 for the fronts and 30 something for the rears.

Akebono makes excellent brake pads. I’ve used them on several of my cars and never had any problems with them. Note that many auto manufacturers specify and equip their vehicles with semi-metallic brake pads on the front because of their superior stopping power compared to other materials. Actually being able to stop effectively is a higher priority than a bit of noise, or brake dust in my opinion.

I just brought Ceramic Akebono(s) for all four tires for my Nissan Altima and this is my second purchase of Akebono(s) with purchases of other brands in between the two purchases of Akebono(s) and they might be a bit pricey compared to other brands, but they last for a very long time and just like you said this is no break-in period or any squealing and little to no brake dust. I also went through a period when the mechanic I was working with was using a more common brand and I had to deal with squealing brakes from day one till it come time for me to get new brake pads because of wear and tear and that took a couple years of squealing. But anyway I learned my lesson and now I walk in to my mechanic with parts in hand. It’s always better to buy your own auto parts if time permits you to do that, that way you choose the quality of the part and not someone else, who is just interested in making a couple of bucks off of you.
@leveragelifestyle8581

Facts. They are the go-to break pads. Sometimes even the mechanics or stores can recommend crap leading you to have to do your own research anyway.

I have fantastic public wifi bandwith (to the tune of 120 mbps download) if I move the laptop or iphone against a window (the kiosk is directly below on the street, 5 floors down). Is there any easy way to get that signal a tiny bit closer to me? - just ONE foot would make all the different in the world.
@leveragelifestyle8581
@leveragelifestyle8581 Жыл бұрын
You can look into wifi antennas that gather wifi signals from a further distance (some have long antennas and connect to a USB port through a dock or directly to your computer). You can use this on your laptop if that's all you have. You could also do this and cast the signal to your phone as well through the hotspot on the computer. In other words boosting your laptops ability to pickup the signal stronger via an external wifi card that is stronger than the internal wifi card in your laptop. Thats the easiest option. If you are trying to cast this public wifi signal in your home you need a wifi extender/repeater that can connect to public wifi specifically via software in the device. The device connects to the public wifi source and extends/boosts the signal further out so other devices can have a better signal. This device in the video does this but it may require messing with settings so if you're not involved it's not guaranteed it will work for you. If you do go that route get a newer model from the company which is also a repeater that can connect to a public Hotspot that may show a login screen in browser to sign in). That's the key - when you first log into the wifi from a new device it asks you for a user name and PW on a login screen in your browser like airport wifi. Regular wifi extenders may not be able to get around that. It will need the ability to deal with that requirement but essentially it would connect to the public wifi source and then cast it's own new signal which your other devices can connect to. If you decide to get a device from the company that makes the device I mention in the video be sure to reach out to the seller/manufacturer and confirm it can repeat Public wifi and still has the software to do so.

Believe it or not, removing the blower motor (from the inside, beneath the glove box) is far simpler than this exterior access at the base of the windshield. Both may need to be done, though. Clean out the exterior intake AND remove leaves from inside the blower motor/squirrel cage. Yes… it’s hard to believe that leaves CAN make it all the way into the squirrel cage.

Yeah it turns out I think it was rats. When I removed the filter inside rat crap and leaves fell out and after I window screened the blower motor under the hood, I came back a few weeks later and saw it was chewed up. Smh. Probably cause it was cold out. I wiped em out though.

They've changed since then and I can't guarantee the ones I got would be the ones you would receive as there's so many different companies selling the same thing. It's worth mentioning that I bought two more pairs after that because the film inside with the logo on it would develop weird lines and mess it up. The only thing I can think of is heat or water got to the films but they lasted me about a year or less before they messed up so I can't recommend these or any others. I just took out the logo and kept the blue light showing under the doors.

I just put these on the front of my third-gen (00-02) Saturn SL2. These pads don''t have the "initial bite" when I first apply the brakes like semimetal pads do, and the feel is more "linear" as I increase force on the pedal -- exactly what people say to expect with ceramics. When I stop in a parking lot, get out and put my hands over the front wheels, there is very little heat coming off the brake pads, calipers and rotors. I have only driven about 100 miles on these Akebono ceramic pads, but so far I am VERY impressed.

They are going to last a long time. I can agree with the linear feel. I love them. Still have the same ones. I'll most likely get them for every car in the future if they are made by akebono.

They've since come out with new models of this one in the video. I'm not sure if they even sell this version anymore but the software is primarily what allows you to do the things I mention in the video which the new models should have and I imagine would be significantly better now. I would reach out to them and confirm you are able to do what you looking for just in case but this is the company to look into first.

Hi bro, great video ! I wanted to know if it was that solid tho ? It says Maximum load: 225kg I wanted to know if the station can withstand that ? For example, someone at 80kg BW doing dips with 120kg, is it good enough or it would be better to buy something much more compact and solid ? If so, do you know any dip stations solid enough for that ? Have a nice day, salut !
@leveragelifestyle8581
@leveragelifestyle8581 Жыл бұрын
Sup bro. Yeah it should handle it without issue because the handle bars have the vertical reinforcement that is welded at the 90 degree joints which prevents bending. If you are doing dips with 180kg you're a savage. The one I have has a bit of a wobble on the bottom where the vertical and horizontal legs meet on both sides because there's a little bit of a gap between the two coming together. It can be fixed by sliding a washer under or maybe they've since fixed it. I think another brand is selling the exact same dip bar since it's been a long time since this review. But I use it till day and it's in the same exact condition cause the paint on it is solid and it's been inside the whole time. Definitely a necessary tool for workouts. Good for ab workouts too.
