Machine exactly like that sit in the back part of the company called Mega Manufacturing in Hutchinson Kansas that machine was used to grind the beams of the now Infamous piranha ironworker I was there when the owner of Mega manufacturing bought metal muncher for that 140 ton press I was the one that unloaded the very first all steel press brake and shear to make the combination of piranha All Steel I guess the All Steel company out of Canada had gotten in trouble and the owner of Mega manufacturing bailed them out he was Notorious for helping smaller companies and then absorbing them later on into his Corporation does the name Mega Manufacturing

Love this bad boy, I worked on this machine many years I ground circular form tools on this machine manually this really can do so much between centers this is a true wonder just this and my comparator I could grind all angles grooves and radii shapes every tool was different which made it not boring to work

and this one has the tailstock made properly. sigh. what is it with these? they come from the same factory, yet one lot has the tailstock correct, as it is here. and the rest have it backwards... like they stuffed up in teh foundry and well... left it that way. i want that tailstock, dammit!
