I just had Moh‘s surgery on my nose and and it is leaving a scar. I am a little over a month since the surgery. It looks like at this point the cost was $8000. Three months from now, perhaps, the scar will be gone maybe. I am using scaraway as it was recommended by the surgeon. A skin graft was performed using tissue behind my right ear. I wish I had known about this but none of the medical personnel mentioned it as an alternative. Now I know. Thank you!

Thank you for this excellent video Dr. Roth. I was dx yesterday for a basal cell carcinoma on my nose, on my delicate small nostril and referred for MOHS. I am now searching for a provider to discuss SRT treatment. I cared for my 90 year old mother after a fairly large MOHS surgery a few months ago which has still not well healed. The wound care was serious indeed. I don't want any more NEEDLES in my nose, I don't want anyone cutting off slices of my small delicate nostril with a scalpel. I don't want to sit in a business meeting and wonder if clients are staring at my nose and wondering why it is bandaged or a piece of my nose is missing. Thank you for this educational video. I hope I can obtain the SRT option.

I went for a consult today as they are opening an additional derm office that will use Sensus machine for SRT- I was impressed with the technology as I have dealt with Mohs in past a and the facial scarring it leaves- so excited that this is finally available in my area!

Does anyone know if, when it comes to a diagnosis of “micronodular” basal cell carcinoma, is treatment with IG-SRT an option as opposed to Mohs? Thank you in advance for your reply.

My mother was about to face major reconstructive surgery for a SCC that had taken over two thirds of her top lip. A hugely invasive surgery for a lady in her late seventies with a number of pre-existing health conditions. She has just been offered this treatment in lieu of the surgery, as a family we are over the moon. This video has made me very optimistic about there treatment outcome.

I had a large BCC directly above my left eye. I decided to have image-guided SRT, which ended up 100% successful. Mohs would have involved scarring, plastic surgery, and all the psychological negativity that goes with the process.

Can a Varian Edge machine be used for Squamish? There are no SRT100 options where I live.

Dr. What are the side effects of Art? I’d think the patient would be at even greater risk of getting skin cancer. Is that correct? Also, I do agree that the outcome for the three cases you presented is astonishing. Thank you very much. I look forward to viewing more of your videos.

My dermatologist is strongly against this type treatment! I was told researcher has shown far more costly and very uncomfortable.
@vectoraerialimaging7747 ай бұрын
More uncomfortable than a forehead flap after Mohs surgery on the nose? I highly doubt it. I'm convinced some dermatologists are threatened by this treatment as it requires less plastic surgery.

I'm starting my first treatment next Thursday. I have 4 different areas with at least 15 sessions each. I'll be going for about 3 months. My dr said we will get to know each other well. lol I have had Melanomo 2 times. The first time in my 20's. I live in Florida and I need to be very careful. I go to the dermatologist 2 x year or more if needed. I have had multiple surgeries for other skin cancers. I am full of scars. I didn't want to go through another surgery. This is my best option.

Life changing! Sir I understand almost everything that you gone thorough dealing with keloids. I have keloids in the exact same place as you. Mine were almost just as bad as yours! I had surgery a few years back with radiation treatment and I can honestly say my life has completely changed. I am so happy for you, for I have followed your story for years! I especially love how you connect with the kids at the school. It’s so refreshing to see kids look past the physical and just see you as just another person. I’ve recently had other keloids form and will need to have them treated. You are an inspiration! I wondered what happened with you and stumbled across this video. You look great God bless you sir!

I had MOHS on a very tiny basal cell on my lip. I will NEVER go through that again.... years of recovery/and dealing with the emotional stress of this scar on my lip that changed my smile and my confidence. It looks better now, but there is no way I would do MOHS again. This sounds amazing. I have another Basal Cell on my lower lip and will definitely do research to find someone near me so I can have this treatment, instead of the invasive MOHS. Thank you for this video Dr. Roth.

So, this technology was developed some 100 years ago but only now we hear about it, why? There is only one explanation for it; the medical establishment wanted it that way so they could, by prolonging the disease, milk patients an insurance companies for every penny they could, though in the process millions would suffer and even die prematurly. But who cares; it's only people, money comes before anything, right? And so it is today for many many other conditions; the medical machine keeps advanced treatments hidden so people will continues to waste money and time on useless treatments that will not heal them or that will take a long time to do so. Today, is March 2022 and jut now I am learning about this treatment, I want to THANK YOU doctor for putting this video out here, I will spread the informations far and wide.
