Would not recommend Psychology at EUR. I've studied there for 4 months until I changed universities and it's one of the worst maintained faculties from Erasmus. In my experience, the tutors were pretty badly prepared and lectures did not provide more information than studying on your own. Same for exams, no one never really knew what to tell us to study and it was an overall mess trying to pass. I would definitely look into other Universities for Psychology.

@@AnnaChristina99 Wow i was planning on studying psychology in 2020 January there, now this has made me question it. I currently study Finance so i thought it'd be nice having a change whilst on exchange - is it really that bad or is this more if youre doing it permanently , and if that, what other faculties would you recommend?

John Bilsel I would say it's pretty bad if you plan on doing it on the long run. I've had classmates struggling from term to term, myself included, hence why I dropped out and applied at a University in the Uk (still on psychology). In the first year you either pass or fail and can't do the same course for 3 years (I don't remember if you can't do the course all around NL or just at EUR). I found that the tutors I've had were either really paying attention to what we were self studying or they would not guide us at all. Same for exams, it's just a pain to find exactly what and how much to study and the grading system is overall really bad. Of course this is just my experience, but if I were in the position to choose this faculty again, after seeing how things really are, I would definitely just consider going to the UK from the beginning. It also depends if you like the traditional teaching method or PBL. I found that problem based learning was not for me so I would definitely look into it. Lots of luck!
