This has NOTHING to do with the content of this video BUT: The background of this video is like one of those books from elementary school where you see a fun picture when you cross your eyes. There isn't a fun picture but it does have the same effect.

What is the average length of each course in weeks? Ex. U.S. History (6 weeks, 8 weeks, etc.)?

This is a life saver. I have my final in operations management tomorrow and my teacher has these exact slides with no recorded lectures or even a study guide. It is much easier to understand these concepts when someone vocally explains them rather than just reading the slides and trying to understand it myself.

Western Governors University (WGU) says that Competency-based education is our unique learning model that allows you to be in the driver's seat of your own education. Students don't take traditional classes at a certain time-coursework is entirely online and you can move through the assignments at whatever pace works for you. Use your previous knowledge and experience to help you accelerate or spend more time on areas that are new. Western Governors University (WGU) is a school that actually fits within your busy life, not the other way around. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpWlfaKdnaxgjNU

So, how do people graduate with honors if the GPA is always 3.0?
@josephparker6464 жыл бұрын
Just for some advice you can get an online degree that is affordable from respected brick and mortar institutions. I am working on my B.S. from Liberty University which has a major campus in Lynchburg Virginia. All degrees from them are awarded with the same university name and the online programs are handled by the respected schools within the university. you will be better off long term from a program like what I am suggesting.

it really doesnt matter... degrees are just a check mark for HR. trust me im doing comp sci i know a bunch of people who get comp sci degrees from b & m schools no one cares where its from as long as you have it. I also know a bunch of people who have jobs with no degree and then people who have online degrees with jobs. the degree is just about checking that box on a form. WGU is affordable and you can accelerate thru it, cant do that with B & m schools even in their online programs.
@Hboogie1824 жыл бұрын
Nobody cares where you got your degree from as long as you know how to code and solve problems.
@cdu3793 жыл бұрын
You’re so wrong. WGU is regionally accredited. This is all that matters. The degree is respectable and honestly no one cares where it comes from as long as you have an accredited one. It’s 2020, time to break the horrible stigma that you’re still spewing.

Couple things: For Profit does NOT = Unaccredited. There are unaccredited nonprofit schools. There are accredited for profit school. Accreditation and profit status have nothing to do with each other. A second misconception is that you have less access to your professors online. Not true. In many cases you have more access because you don't have to stand in a crowd waiting for tons of other students to finish getting the professor's attention, nor do you have to wait for set office hours to ask a question. Lastly, about graduate school admission, people rarely have trouble getting into brick and mortar grad programs with undergrad degrees earned online as long as their degree is accredited and their GPA is solid. Besides, most who earn an undergrad online just go and earn their grad degree online, too. This is not a real issue.
