I went today to the release. First time going. Wanted to get kids on a rainbow but my god you won't believe how the adults act .... hogging the space , casting over each other, limiting out and still catching. Won't give anyone a chance to get a cast in. This was at camp huaco today. Those "adults" should be ashamed of themselves. Kids never had a chance to catch one fish....

@@OBSGarage-q1r aww man sorry you had this experience! It unfortunately does happen. I was upper Guadalupe today and it was super packed! Be sure to check the TPWD stocking locations and dates so you can get you and the kids broader options

@@ClaytonSteinfort-zc7ke I don’t believe anything is out on blast. It’s a large river in Texas and has plenty trout stocked every year. If you’re in Texas you should definitely check it out!

It was a blast! Definitely get you a nice setup, as a beginner I recommend fly combo kit by Wildwater, you can find them on amazon. As far as location you can fish just about anywhere, to start I suggest an open area to practice. Join me next time!

Spots are actually darker brown & the pattern is a bit different. In San Marcos river it can be tricky because there is both spot, guads, & tigers. Sometimes they trick me haha. I believe this one is a Guadalupe bass
